Announced at Monterey on Tuesday — the manual was dropped when the 992.2 launched in 2024 and it's now back as the new "MT Package" for the 2027 model year.
Standard kit is proper: rear-axle steering, PASM Sport suspension (-10mm), Sport Chrono, unique exhaust tuning, and center-lock wheels for the first time ever on a Carrera S. RWD only. 3,327 lbs — 11 lbs more than a Carrera T.
The manual-vs-PDK argument has been the loudest one in the 911 community for over a decade. Porsche just conceded — again — that the demand was real.
Question is: is this Porsche actually listening, or covering a base before the electric transition arrives?
