⚡️out today⚡️ Still beaming from the conclusion of his extraordinary summer tour, which culminated in his biggest show to date at Roskilde Festival, Bruno Berle releases his landmark third studio album Sem Fronteiras.

Recorded across London, São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Germany, and Maceió, the album–co-produced alongside his longstanding musical partner Batata Boy–is the most expansive canvas Berle has worked on to date. Shot through with the imagery that has always animated his songwriting: open skies, morning light, vivid colours and the magic of human connection, Berle’s carefully crafted poetics and warm, delicate instrumentation drive this vivid body of work.

Following last year's self-titled albums by Nyron Higor and Phylipe Nunes Araujo, which Bruno and Batata Boy co-produced, Sem Fronteiras is another essential offering from this blooming scene of artists originating from Brazil's northeastern states.

💫 OUT NOW 💫 Today Moyses Dos Santos releases his stellar debut album Maria. The London based, Brazilian born electric bassist and composer has long been one of the capital's most in-demand players, having worked alongside best-selling artists including Nile Rodgers, Janelle Monáe, Emile Sandé, Gregory Porter and Omar.

On Maria, Dos Santos assembles an international cast of collaborators including legendary Brazilian arrangers Arthur Verocai and Mauricio Maestro, US trumpet sensation Theo Croker, London-based vocal star Lynda Dawn, alongside top tier talents from the London jazz community. Layered beneath the formidable musicianship on show, the album is a deeply personal opus. Named after his mother, it looks homeward exploring the musical vocabularies of his youth. From the soul of the church band where he began to learn his trade as a musician, to the rolling batucadas – maracatus, baiaos, sambas and frevos – which he played throughout his teenage years.

Today Fabiano Do Nascimento releases Vila, his fifteenth studio album in as many years. On what's arguably his most ambitious work to date, the prolific guitar master conveys an impressionistic approach to Brazilian musical traditions, supported in perfect balance by the luscious orchestrations of Vittor Santos.

Recorded between Rio de Janeiro and Los Angeles, the album is a heartfelt, nostalgic homage to Bairro Saavedra, the cobbled courtyard in Rio's Catete neighbourhood where Fabiano grew up under his Grandmother's care. The cover image (taken by Brian Cross) shows the front door of Fabiano's childhood home.

To celebrate the album's release, Fabiano has embarked on a European tour, which is underway now with a few tickets remaining for select shows.

⚡️out now⚡️A correction to the course of Brazilian jazz history, São Paulo avant-gardists Grupo Um have released their lost masterpiece Nineteen Seventy Seven. Recorded almost half a century ago in the year that gives the album its title, Nineteen Seventy Seven was considered too leftfield and confrontational to meet approval from the military junta’s censorship programme that dogged the Brazilian arts scene with its oppression for so many years.

The vinyl (which is almost already sold out!) is housed in a double sided printed inner sleeve with liner notes written by the group’s founding brothers Lelo and Ze Nazario.
