What even is school anymore yall 😭 so there’s this guy in my first period who’s been talking to me lately. This morning he showed me the White House instagram where they changed their bio to something absolutely inappropriate, and showed me a video of someone being DETAINED. And I was like “that’s fucked up” and he started talking about how they were being sent to the most dangerous prison in the world and I said like, again that’s so fucked up. Cause it is! And then he goes “yeah but like, you’ve gotta like what they’re doing.” Have any of yall experienced that when you suddenly realize someone you’re talking to kind of sucks? Like I just get real quiet and don’t know what to say. And he started talking about how his whole family is super conservative. It never ceases to shock me how someone can lack empathy to the point that they see someone potentially innocent illegally locked up and sent to one of the most horrific places on earth and say “yeah, that’s the right thing to do.”
