Also this is what it looks like when you get a phone call. the name you set for the SIM receiving the call shows up below the person's name. BUT if you just leave your phone to the default labels ("Primary" and "Secondary" the only thing that shows up is the small white letter (a "P" or "S"), no other name. Kind of hard to read!

Another question on the iPhone XS Max with dual sim - people have been asking if you can register both of your phone numbers in the dual SIM phone with Whatsapp.
Unfortunately it doesn't look like the current release of Whatsapp on iOS works with multiple numbers. You have to pick one or the other. There's also no way I know to install the same app twice on an iPhone, so you can't have two running at the same time. (I did upgrade my app today to the latest release to double check btw).

In response to questions from viewers, here's a screen cap of the place where you can name your SIM card in an iPhone XS Max with dual SIMs. Either pick a pre-set one or type in a custom label. (I deleted the phone number, it shows at the top of the page normally)
