Hi everyone. My channel recently faced a serious threat due to a malicious actor. I received two copyright strikes from someone who is abusing YouTube's system to harass and extort creators.
Initially, I tried to resolve this in good faith. After a conversation, this person promised to retract the strikes. I trusted them, but instead of removing them, they issued another strike the next day. To protect my channel from total termination, I was forced to remove all my content temporarily.
This person is trying to hide: they changed their handle from [@IzSarah] (former) to [@UsualWeirdo] (current) and hidden all their videos, thinking they can escape consequences after targeting others. There are strong indications that this person may not own the original content they claim to protect — but that will be determined through the formal process.
I am already taking formal administrative steps through YouTube's official counter-notification system to resolve this. I want to be fully transparent about what is happening with my channel — I have nothing to hide.
(Note: I am not asking anyone to mass report or take any coordinated action. I'm simply sharing what happened so you understand why the channel went dark. Any reports should only be made if you personally believe there is a genuine violation — YouTube's report system exists for that purpose.)
