I’m so grateful I had the chance to speak on NewsNation this morning about an issue that’s breaking my heart.
Many mobile home owners — some who are elderly and living on fixed incomes — are being pushed out of the places they’ve called home for years.
Big hedge funds and investors are buying up mobile home parks, raising lot rents so high that long-time residents simply can’t afford to stay.
These aren’t just “properties” — these are people’s lives, memories, and communities being torn apart.
Affordable housing should be protected, not turned into a profit machine.
We have to keep shining a light on what’s happening — because the people going through this deserve to be seen, heard, and fought for.

So, in the ‘70s, a house cost about 2.5X your income…
Now? Nearly 6X your income (or more, depending on where you live).
🤯 Buying a home used to be a reality for middle-class families. Today, it feels like a luxury.

What changed? 👀

📈 Wages haven’t kept up with inflation.
📉 Housing costs have skyrocketed.
🏦 Higher interest rates + corporate real estate investing = fewer homes for buyers.
