Welcome! I've been a comic book collector and enthusiast for 40+ years, and this is my creative outlet to share what I've learned as well as what I'm constantly learning about this great hobby. This channel focuses mostly on pre-1990 comic books, with a sprinkle of weird, esoteric, and obscure comic book trivia. I endeavor to have one new video a week, with new videos published on Sundays at 5pm. Happy to have you here to talk about comic books!

Jim Aparo fans! Hat tip to @jonathanmitchell9886 who left a comment about one of Jim Aparo's best pieces of work at DC, 'The Demon Within', a short story in House of Mystery #201.
Tom Brevoort did a blog post providing some amazing detail on the story, with a full side by side visual script and final rendering. Just in time for the Hallowe'en season!

Hi all, I hope you enjoyed the 2 part series on the top 50 comic book artist. A lot of great feedback (positive and critical) and discussion from the comments. I have a quick little survey about the music background I used. My voice can be monotonous so I thought I'd add a light soundtrack, something I briefly experimented before on another video. What did you think? Any other comments about audio/video welcome!

Hi all, I have some unfortunate news that a friend of the channel, Brandon from M.O.N. Comics has had a serious house fire and his home is pretty much gone. The good news is that his family (and cats) are safe and sound. He's a pillar to his own community and the comic book youtube community and one of the reasons why I started my youtube channel.
