Some days ago, I drafted a contract for one of my clients. He was looking to employ someone to work with him, and the terms and conditions for this particular employee were quite different from those we had used before.
As a business owner, your lawyer knows how to protect you when you are entering into a contract with anyone. Your lawyer knows the right clauses to use and when to use them. Don't just go sign a contract without reviewing it with a lawyer, and avoid copying what you see online. Business is unique, and you should treat it so. When it comes to entering a contract, ensure you have your lawyer by your side.

This day last year, I was prepared to face my Financial Management and Strategy exam, or so I thought.
More than 24 hours before then, I was awake. I couldn't sleep and that was so unlike me. I have the habit of making sure I get enough sleep before any exam, even if it is for just a few hours. But for FMS, I couldn't sleep. I had started preparations months before the exam. I attended the lectures, joined tutorials, practised the past questions myself, learned the formulas and solved the hard calculations, prayed etc.😃
But at 9:00 a.m., I sat down, calculator and my writing materials in hand. I got the question paper and I smiled.
I read through question 1, and it sounded like something I know: Cash budget. I said good. I moved to question 2 and it was looking like something else. I patted myself. You know, it was 6 questions in all and I was trying to pick 4 that I could solve excellently. So I moved on to numbers 3, 4, 5 and 6, and that was when it dawned on me. Common!😂😂😂
What in the name of questions are these ones? Did the syllabus change overnight? I almost screamed. I screamed though but in tongues because oh my God!😂 That was when I got to know the reason God gave me Psa. 44:3 ahead~
"For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them."
I placed my head on the table and prayed in the spirit. I had to calm myself and there was no better way. I picked up my pen and started with Section A. I answered some of the questions. Then, you know that question 1 that sounded like a Cash budget, yeah, that one. I read it again and lo and behold, it wasn't my beloved Cash budget. I almost cried.😂😂😂
Trust me, I don't joke with my exams, but I was there in that exam hall, and it wasn't funny. At that point, some people were done with the exam. Not that they had answered all the questions. Some had even resolved to come back next time but I told God, "Lord, I have done my part, now I need your help."
At that point, I picked up my pen, while praying in the spirit under my breath, and I started writing. I did some calculations. I solved what I could and prayed. I told God again, I'm done with FMS. I'm done!
After the exam, I made sure I didn't say anything negative. I just kept beliieving till the result came out and I'm grateful God helped me.
If you are writing the ICSAN exams this morning, you are marvelously helped. You have put in the effort, but it's time to trust God to crown it. God's best in your exams. I'm rooting for you.❤️
