In-depth tutorials for interesting beginner projects — no steps skipped, and not a donut in sight.

I’m a former graphic designer who fell down the Blender rabbit hole and never quite found the way back out. This channel is about sharing what I learn as I go: practical workflows, experiments, tips, tricks, and as many clean quads as I can manage.

Whether you’re just starting out or looking to level up your 3D skills, you’re welcome here. Expect clear explanations, honest problem-solving, and an unhealthy interesting in 90s hot hatches.

If you want to follow along more closely or need help with anything, my Discord is always open:

Subscribe if that sounds useful — and let’s figure this Blender thing out together.

Can you tell what car it is?

Working away on the forth coming 'low polygon' cars tutorial. This is about 65% of the final detail for the model and is the process I use to make all the cars for my games. It will also teach you some good fundamentals for making high polygon cars too with even topology and quads that will smooth correctly. I expect to start releasing lessons late next week so subscribe to make sure you don't miss anything. It's going to be a big one!

Finished the base mesh and the cut lines for the first attempt at the polygon count specification I'm aiming for in Time Control. Next step is to UV unwrap the mesh and to bake the normals, then see how it looks dropped in to the engine.

I'm hoping I've done a good enough job for you to be able to tell what it is?

This isn't going to be some WRC spec monster either. It's going to be a street stock, ready for some targa rally action.

Finished the guide lines for the first proper model I'm producing for my Targa Rally sim Time Control. Amateur rallying would be nowhere without the Mantra Max 5 (license pending...). Looking forward to getting the spare wheel on the parcel shelf and the mud flaps bolted on to this
