New Linkin Park song is great. Fantastic first single. Solid 8/10 in my opinion. I am looking forward to the album and am extremely glad to have LP back in my daily life again. People are comparing the new vocalist Emily to Chester quite a lot, which is pointless. LP are not trying to replace Chester, so it's silly now that anytime I see a reel or a short of a Linkin Park cover band live, where a guy sounds more like Chester than Emily does, everyone in the comment sections are saying how one of these cover band vocalists would've been a better fit and that replacing Chester with Emily is disrespectful. Sheesh. As if replacing Chester with a guy that literally pretends to be Chester for a living is not disrespectful? I have nothing against those cover bands, it's cool to just go to a concert and go wild over some LP covers, but they're just covers. Being born with a voice that sounds like Chester's is like winning the lottery, you practice and you hone that gift, but that adds nothing to a person's ability to write songs that connect with another human's soul. With that being the case, I put my money on an experienced artist, songwriter and vocalist.. as opposed to a talented and gifted vocalist that barely speaks English and can only sing Chester's parts live. Emily has been a musician and an artist for decades and she clearly meshes well with the rest of LP because when I heard The Emptiness Machine - I felt that sh*t. Mike has always carried the Linkin Park DNA for the last 24 years. Some albums such as ATS and LT he carried that DNA even more than Chester did. After Chester Passed, Mike's Post Traumatic album felt like a chapter that was part of the Linkin Park story. And now we are onto the next one. This story did not end with Chester. Linkin Park is, was and always will be bigger than any of the members of the band. They created an otherworldly connection between a song and the human soul. Not just through phenomenal vocal performances, but also through stellar songwriting and production. Linkin Park has always been evolving, it never stayed dormant. Since Minutes To Midnight they have not allowed themselves to be boxed into a genre. Through the decades they kept pushing the limits of creativity through experimental music. They are part of the reason why genres are no longer a thing these days - everyone listens to a little bit of everything, right?. Linkin Park ARE Hybrid, they are not Nu-Metal, they are not Rap/Rock, or Heavy Rock, Pop Rock, Electronica whatever label you want to throw at them. They've transcended that. It's a new chapter for LP and their fans and I am happy to be part of it.
Side Note: I will not be making any new mashups with their new music. I still have an album's worth of mashups from 2019-2020 that I will upload on my second channel. Big things coming to this channel as well. Original music and new mashups across two channels. I will post updates soon as well as a discord link. If you've read this essay, thanks. I just wanted to share my thoughts about something that's important to me and also wanted to let some of you know that I am still alive and still yapping. Have a great Wednesday everyone.
My Linkin Park & Eminem mashup album finally has a name: "DEAD OF NIGHT"
Current songs still in the works:
LATE NIGHT SYMPHONIES SLOW DECAY A PLACE TO CALL HOME feat. Kendrick Lamar FLESH AND BLOOD feat. Frank Ocean TILL MY LAST BREATH feat. J.Cole NEVER AGAIN feat. Billie Eilish HEAVY THOUGHTS SIFTING THROUGH THE DARKNESS
I'm sure 75% of those songs will end up in the trash bin, but I will try and finish as many as I possibly can. No set deadline, but I wanna drop this album before spring rolls around.
Tomorrow marks the 10 year anniversary of my very first mashup album: Collision Course II. To celebrate this occasion, I have gone through some of my notes and ideas that I wrote down for it, but never ended up doing because I did not have certain elements of the mashup at hand. Now I do and I decided to finish those ideas. I released Collision Course II on December 19th, 2012, Because the 21st of December in 2012 was supposed to be the end of the world, so I wanted to make sure people will have had at least one day to listen to the mashup album before we all perish lol.
So this will be a 10 year anniversary edition of the mashup album from 2012, which includes all the original tracks + 5 new and unreleased mashups, that no one has heard. See you guys tomorrow. All the best.

I present you : one of the biggest and most complex mashups that I have done in a long time. This song serves as the intro to the next Linkin Park x Eminem album. Available today at 5 PM EST. Don't miss out on the premiere.
The entire aesthetic of the song, as usual follows the same techno-apocalyptic theme of the rest of the album. I wanted to give it that futuristic feel of Collision Course 3 and the dark and gritty feeling of After Collision 2, which still to this date are the most important two projects in the history of this channel. More notes on the song itself, on LITTLE DID WE KNOW, I added a ton of my own vocals singing along to Mike and Chester, harmonizing, to make it more dynamic during certain parts.
