You know for $20 AUD this isn’t bad. Think of it like an elevated CK One with a hint of vanilla and a whisper of moss once it starts drying down. If you ever wanted to smell CK One with slightly less dominant citrus notes and less of that subtle metallic quality, Ferrari Red may appeal to you. Performance isn’t anything special though but at this price point smelling good is good enough.

Has anyone been getting these fragrance advertisements on their socials? (Click the image to see the full image and description) It seems like another new clone house has emerged with awful AI Art lmao Fragrance description does sound promising though. Tom Ford’s Tuscan Leather? Ombré Leather?

These two fragrances couldn’t appear more different, aesthetically. One is pale and surrounded by a slightly frosted glass, whereas Black is imperceivable and surrounded by a translucent darkness. Both scents offer a significant freshness. One is brighter, lighter, and is carried by a sharp citrus hit and a gentle woody-muskiness as it dries one. Black offers a similar sharp citrus note in the opening but this soon gives way to aromatics like Basil, Violet Leaf, and then musks and a semi-dark woodiness. These two fragrances can be found for around the $40AUD price point and while neither are a particular favourite of mine nor do they offer exceptional value (although thus 200ml bottle of One has lasted me since the inception of the channel and I haven’t even used a quarter of it yet), I do believe there’s a lot of value in wearing something that is not only appropriate for the weather, but suits your own inherent sense of style.

The crazy part is that the Cool Water body spray ($15 AUD) actually performs better than the Cool Water EDT ($35 AUD). If you’re on an especially tight budget and you love Davidoff’s Cool Water, the body spray is an excellent choice. What other body sprays do you find to be as good or better than their EDT counterparts?

Joop and its cheapest “clone”. Worn together they present a surprisingly attractive combination. Jeer is much less cloying and adds a freshness and lift that Joop lacks. Joop will set you back about $35 AUD and a can of Jeer only $3 AUD. If you own the pair, try it out. I’d recommend only a single spray of Joop as it sits incredibly heavy. If you were sceptical of Joop Homme previously but also own a can of Jeer, or are interested in it, definitely give the combo a try.
