$70 AUD from Chemist Warehouse. Been waiting to try this Varvatos scent for ages. Will wear it for a couple of days and share my thoughts! If anyone’s tried it let me know what you think in the comments💪🏼

Agree or disagree? Hugo Boss has some of the most underrated AND overrated fragrances in men’s perfumery.

When I started this channel, close to five years ago, I wanted to upload vlogs and talk about affordable fashion, fragrances, and style, but over the years I've dipped into other subjects. I believe I provided a brief review of the movie Nope after I saw it with my father in the cinema, back in 2022, and I've also covered an assortment of topics here on this channel. I've continued filming and uploading "talking videos" as a means to engage with all my mates here and speak earnestly about some of the things I'm passionate about including sobriety, politics, and psychology (which is where my educational background is in as I have my Honours in Behavioural Psychology and a Bachelors in Social Sciences, which I studied concurrently, and eventually completed after moving back to my hometown after my father was diagnosed with cancer). Unfortunately, the YouTube Gods (the algorithm) doesn't smile favourably upon those that are hard to pigeonhole and, like the Punk Rocker I've always been at heart, sometimes my desire to talk about different subjects has likely come at the cost of not being pushed as aggressively as other channels that cover fragrances. So, to cut a long story short, I've created a new channel where I can upload my vlogs and talking videos. I'd just like to conclude this piece by saying thank you to everyone that's ever clicked one of my videos and decided to hit the subscribe button. Thanks for joining me on this ride.

Managed to pick this up at my local pharmacy for $17 AUD and because it was the last bottle they gave me the tester for free which was really nice of them. Wearing it today and I’m surprised by how musky it is. Aromatic in the opening, a touch of vanilla, and then a huge wave of clean musks.

Latest old-school fragrance pickups. Wings bottle likely an older formulation as it still has genuine oak & tree moss in the ingredients. Haven’t tried it on yet but the smell from the atomiser and inside the cap is quite pleasant. Reminds me of Nautica Classic and Nautica Blue. Will have to wear it a couple of times before I develop my thoughts on the scent though. Wings 30ml for $19.99 AUD & Aramis 110ml for $59 AUD. Wearing Aramis now and the aldehydic notes are abundant in the opening, followed by an interplay of leather and damp moss. It’s old-fashioned and powerful, and would be an intimidating fragrance for most (especially younger gentlemen). For regular wearers of Paco Rabanne Pour Homme & Tabac that want something a little more animatic and domineering. Can’t wait to share my extended thoughts on the fragrance.

The weather’s taken a turn for the worst this morning. It’s grey, overcast, and the rain is drizzly. Mornings like this make summer seem like some dim and distant dream to be remembered and recollected by the fireplace. So with that in mind how do I approach the day? With something fresh and sweet, or do I opt for something comforting and warm? I chose Tabac because of its timeless quality. Warming, a little spicy, and aromatic. I find it to have a very clean and old-fashioned bar soap-like quality too. Perfect for a day like this when a break in the cloud cover or rain isn’t guaranteed, but tomorrow may bring with it something warm and beautiful.
