It’s taken a while but I FINALLY got the next Walking dead video out on the Horror channel. I know Horror is probably not a lot of everyone’s jam here but it’s been a consistent supplementary addition here across the lifespan of the channel (through intros, music choices, asides and references), etc. For those of you that do check it out, thank you!

I’ve worn this every day the past week and my opinion of it only grows more positive with every wear. Take Joop Homme but remove that medicinal/cough syrupy sweetness and replace it with a gentle fabric softener quality and you get Mont Blanc Individuel. Solid performance, great for compliments, and it’s coming in at under $50 AUD a bottle. I’m thankful that I picked up two bottles of this when I saw it at Chemist Warehouse the first and only time I ever saw it at my local store. Doesn’t get much better when it comes to casual wear.

If David Beckham released a Nautica scent, this would be it. Fresh, lightly sweet, with a touch of pepper spice. I think I paid in the ballpark of $15-$20 AUD for this fragrance when I picked it up many years ago and although the performance has only improved marginally with maceration, the overall profile of the scent remains solid. It’s grey and overcast here, dampness abounds, but rather than reach for something cloying or heavy I chose to go for something a little lighter. Rocking a checked overcoat and a John Coltrane t-shirt. A taste of the winter to come.

It’s taken me a while but I finally found my bottle of Eternity EDT at the very back of my collection. I’d found my Intense, my EDP, my Parfum, a litany of flankers but couldn’t seem to locate the original. After wearing it today I’m reminded of how much I enjoy the aromatic and herbal qualities of this scent and, despite the fact that this is a designer scent, how unique it is in comparison to virtually any of the other CK fragrances. If this isn’t the BEST Calvin Klein fragrance, it’s certainly up there. How would you rank it though?

Spent quite a while working on this one. I may have alluded to the writing process in one or two of my recent videos too (although I could’ve dreamt it or simply cut it out during editing, haha). Anyway, this video was a labour of love and it’s always fun to stretch my legs and speak about something other than smelly stuff.
