So hey, long time no see.

I wish I had something crazy or dramatic to explain why I've been out of it, but it really has just been a bunch of uninteresting life stuff, and a long fight against depression and imposter syndrome. Turns out imposter syndrome got hands and I keep falling for its overhead mixup! I reasoned that no one really enjoys hearing about stuff that isn't content which is why I've stayed quiet, but I figured I at least owed you guys some communication if I was gonna suddenly drop that Deadpool short.

That said, I do wanna get back into the game, but I wanna be able to do it with more frequency. I've been thinking and stressing about what kind of videos I wanna make, what kind of channel I want to be, and moreover if anything I say has any sort of legitimacy. I have a paralyzing fear of spreading misinformation or presenting facts incorrectly, and sometimes I get the urge to want to have opinions about things other than fighting games that I'm always afraid will not go over well. Perhaps it's irrational, but that's just the nature of fear, isn't it?

So I'm thinking of what ways I can upload more often and I wanna know what you guys would be cool with. I've considered maybe having some livestreams where I can talk more casually about some topics and even respond to questions, and I'll keep the VODs up and even chop them into shorts. Speaking of which, shorts are also really easy to make and I get to approach them in smaller chunks which takes some weight off of having to make elaborate thought pieces. That said, I do still wanna make long-form videos, I definitely have more Style Selects I wanna make and a bunch of weird martial arts I've never gotten to talk about! But video essays take a long time to make, and I have to shake off a lot of rust if I wanna get back to speed. What do you guys think? Would you be cool with some livestreams and shorts content? Would you be cool if I veered off topic and yapped about other stuff I'm into?

Anyway, for those of you who stuck around, I'm glad you're still here. I owe you guys you guys more than an apology, but I don't wanna make this about regrets. I wanna make this about going forward, and I wanna be more transparent.

The Forgiveness Arc of Salvatore Ganacci has been *astonishing* to me. I've never seen anyone who was met with so much derision on reveal, only to gracefully win back all that lost good will in a matter of days.

If anything, let's appreciate Mr. Ganacci for being such a good sport about this.

As an aside, I'm aware that some people are hearing issues with my voice recording audio. I have been working on this video on and off since January, and I've determined that I literally cannot hear them, but I've been using this time to troubleshoot the problems. I have new equipment now, but some of this has been recorded before that point, so some of it is gonna be scuffed. I apologize, but hopefully new videos from here on out will have better quality.
