What can i say โ it grew its own legs and sprinted out the gate. i would be really proud and honoured to have any song hit a billion streams. But for it to be a double take, which is unashamedly about falling in love with a guy, feels really special. Itโs a beautiful full circle moment because where i grew up sex between men was illegal and i often wondered if it was even possible to be openly queer and have a music career. your love for the rapunzel project & dt has felt like a warm embrace of that young version of myself.
I could go on and on but iโll spare you my sentimentality. iโm so lucky and so thankful.
