Why are so many people working harder than ever but ending up with less?
Gary Stevenson breaks down the truth about wealth extraction, soaring debt, remote work, and the financial shifts that are making it almost impossible for ordinary people to build any stability
Are tiny decisions today secretly deciding your next decade?
Today’s guest has spent more than 10 years studying why those small choices decide whether you grow into the person you want to be or stay tied to the person you’ve been.
James Clear has changed how more than 25 million people view their small daily choices through his book ‘Atomic Habits’.
His work guides people to understand how the way they see themselves, the everyday routines they’re surrounded by, and how tiny actions compound into a life that feels easier to manage and easier to improve.
Most people think change comes from willpower or motivation - James’s work reveals something very different.
We answer:
- How do you use the paperclip method to stay consistent with any habit? - Why some habits stick and others fall apart? - How do you redesign the situations around you so that change becomes easier? - What is the real cost of perfectionism? - How can you create momentum when they feel stuck?
My conversation with James taught me that real change doesn’t come from dramatic moments. It comes from something as small as making the first two minutes of a habit so easy you can’t avoid it.
He taught me how most people don’t really need motivation - they need clearer steps.
What James taught me is that change doesn’t need to feel overwhelming. When you break things down into simple steps, it becomes something anyone can return to - even on difficult days.
Are we losing control of the very technology we created?
Tristan Harris breaks down how AI is accelerating beyond human oversight, why countries cannot slow the global race, and what this means for jobs, democracy, and the future of society
If you had only $1,000, which side hustle would generate the most revenue?
Chris Koerner breaks down the simple businesses anyone can start, from wedding rentals to local newsletters, and how to choose the idea that actually wins
“Any side hustle could be a multi-million dollar business” And today’s guest has built his entire career proving it.
Chris Koerner buys and builds companies that most people overlook, then turns them into multi-million dollar businesses.
From AI-driven companies to RV parks generating millions a year, he has become known for turning simple ideas into revenue. Now, he helps founders understand how to design businesses that fit their strengths.
Most people think they need a perfect idea or a big investment, but Chris argues the opposite.
He believes the gap between an idea and a real business has never been smaller.
So many of us hesitate with this, and Chris went into why motivation isn’t enough and why the best opportunities often sit right in front of us but go untouched, and that’s why I wanted him on the show.
Not to hype people up, but to give them something they can actually use.
So we covered:
- Why do we cling to the belief that we need money to start? - How do you test an idea without risking everything? - How can AI multiply the value of a simple idea? - Why do people sabotage their own execution?
Speaking to Chris reminded me that people often talk themselves out of ideas before they’ve even taken a single step.
I also respect the risk he’s taken on his own shoulders. The responsibility he carries, especially with four kids, is not small.
And yet he’s used that to push himself further instead of holding himself back.
I value anyone who can simplify something that looks complicated from the outside.
Chris has done that for entrepreneurship, and in a world that’s changing as fast as ours - especially with AI, having more options for yourself is going to matter more than ever.
What if everything you were taught about saving money is actually holding you back?
Global finance expert Morgan Housel explains why most people save for the wrong reasons, why money trauma controls our decisions without us realising, and why traditional financial advice often fails in the real world
What if your breakfast routine is silently damaging your heart and speeding up ageing?
Dr Pradip Jamnadas, one of the world’s leading cardiologists, reveals why millions of people misunderstand the most important meal of the day and how it affects inflammation, visceral fat, and long-term metabolic health
Why are CEOs of AI companies privately warning about the extinction of humans?
To understand that, I’m joined by someone who helped build the field…
Stuart Russell is one of the world’s leading AI researchers. He co-wrote Artificial Intelligence*: ‘*A Modern Approach’ - the textbook used to train AI engineers in more than 1,500 universities.
He has spent decades advising governments and global leaders on the safety and control of advanced AI.
Right now, the people building the most powerful AI systems are raising alarms in private that they rarely voice in public.
Some estimate up to a 25% chance that AI could lead to human extinction…
Stuart has heard these conversations directly.
He believes we’re in a race we don’t really understand, pushed by incentives no one is really controlling.
So I asked him:
- Why can’t governments control this race? - What happens when AI becomes more capable than humans? - How close are we to losing control? - What would safe AI actually look like? - Is there still time to change course?
It’s clear that so many people want clarity on this topic. When we spoke to Geoffrey Hinton and other AI safety experts, millions of people listened - It showed me how concerned and curious the public really is.
I also had to acknowledge something in myself. I invest in AI companies, while also spending hours on this podcast speaking to people warning about the risks.
That contradiction is real, but I don’t think things are ever as simple as “good” or “bad.”
The most honest people I know can hold both truths at once, and that’s why I respect Stuart.
He tells the truth even when it’s uncomfortable, when people don’t want to hear it.
What if everything you believe about the future of work is already out of date?
Former Google insider Tristan Harris just issued one of the most urgent warnings we have ever had on the podcast. After years working inside Big Tech and studying the race toward advanced AI, he says we are far closer to a major global disruption than anyone realises
