It's just a number, but sometimes I think it's worth taking a step back and appreciating how far we've come. Thank you all for the support over the last few years! I am hard at work on my next video, and have big things planned for the 2025 storm season. Cheers to 100K!!
11 years ago Washington Illinois was hit by an extremely violent tornado around 11:00 in the morning. This is one of the most interesting tornadoes I have ever studied. Not only did it have numerous videos taken by people directly in the path, there was excellent radar imagery taken right after the event, and it happened in my home state of Illinois. I made a video on this tornado earlier this year - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zrVo... , and I think my interest and passion on the topic showed through in the video, it is my favorite video I've made.
A lot of people asked why I titled it "The most evil tornado ever recorded" and there are a few reasons why- It happened on a Sunday morning while many residents were in church, it hit or nearly hit multiple churches. The tornado also just had an evil energy or vibe to it, kind of hard to explain but you'll understand if you watch!
I will be going LIVE on Sunday at 2pm Central, the two year anniversary of the infamous December 10th tornado outbreak. I will have multiple channel announcements, and will do a live Q&A. Hope to see you there!
New video is up! This video features 12 tornadoes across 4 different days of storm chasing, all during the last two weeks of June. This is by far my most successful period of storm chasing, and the most incredible moment is shown here- when a lightning bolt rode along the outside of a large dusty tornado in Nebraska.
I also want to say that this will be my last storm chasing video for a while. I want to get back to some of my other content type videos where I explore some interesting things about tornadoes, like their strange paths, comparing tornado strengths, and even some other interesting things I'd rather not say so that other youtubers won't steal my video ideas ;P. Anyways, I hope you watch my latest video and stick around for my content in the future!
TWO areas of 15% tornado probabilities outlined by the Storm Prediction Center. I have never seen that before. I will be chasing the northern target! Stay weather aware if you're in the outlined areas.
1 year ago I witnessed a historic EF4 near Winterset Iowa. I was filming for the first 10 minutes of its life, during its most photogenic and powerful form. This tornado took the lives of 6, including two children.

Incredible video from Tanner. I was unaware he was also hit by the SAME tornado, so watching this was shocking, and quite emotional for me.
