Do you Remember the Record?

The Dayton family are a legendary Flint Michigan crew that starts building their buzz in the early 90s. Heads like our own TRC crew member, Johnny Warbux, were first introduced to them via way of the Three 6 Mafia. Their local anthem “Flint Town” from their first album “What’s on my Mind” is still an absolute banger to this day. But did any of y’all get into their second album FBI? Great acronym by the way, the album stands for Fuck Being Indicted. It came out back in October 1995 and had a more mature and polished sound from their debut. A favorite track on here is without a shadow of a doubt “What’s on my Mind Pt. 2”

Do you have a favorite Dayton Family track?

Method Man Talks About His Depression:

Method Man, whose real name is Clifford Smith Jr., is a rapper and actor known for his unique voice and lyrical ability. While many know him for his success in the music industry and appearances in film and television, few are aware of the struggles he has faced with depression throughout his life.

In a 2015 interview with HuffPost Live, Method Man opened up about his experiences with depression and how it has affected him. He revealed that he has struggled with depression since he was a child, but it wasn't until he was an adult that he realized what it was. He spoke about feeling like he was in a dark place and not knowing how to get out of it, even though he had everything he thought he wanted.

Method Man's experiences with depression have been complicated by the expectations placed on him as a successful rapper and celebrity. He has been open about the pressure he has felt to maintain a certain image and to be seen as strong and invincible. This pressure has made it difficult for him to seek help for his depression and to talk openly about his struggles.

Despite these challenges, Method Man has been working to address his depression and to help others who may be going through similar struggles. He has been an advocate for mental health awareness and has encouraged others to seek help when they need it.

Method Man's experiences with depression are a reminder that mental health struggles can affect anyone, regardless of their fame or success. His willingness to speak openly about his struggles has helped to break down the stigma surrounding mental illness and has encouraged others to seek the help they need.
