I turned 50 in November 2023 and, like many people facing a milestone birthday, I had a mini midlife crisis. So I turned to the internet for advice and reassurance.

Big mistake.

All I found was negativity telling men my age what we should no longer do, wear, say, buy, or enjoy. Apparently, turning 50 means acting your age and quietly fading into the background.

So I decided to do the opposite.

This channel is about embracing life after 50 with curiosity, humour, and confidence — even if it means ageing disgracefully. I’ll be sharing my passions for travel, health and homes and, making the most of the lessons learned over the last 50 years.
