🚨 I think almost every creator has done this...

You upload a video...

Then immediately become its biggest fan.

You watch it on your phone.
Then on your laptop.
Then "just one more time" from another account to make sure everything looks okay.

Maybe you even convince yourself those extra 3 views are helping. 😅

Here's the weird part:

They usually aren't.

If you're clicking your own video over and over, then leaving after a few seconds to check comments, analytics, or refresh the page, you're feeding YouTube some pretty messy signals.

YouTube eventually filters repetitive views anyway, so the little "boost" often disappears later.

And if most of the earliest activity on a brand-new upload is... you, the system isn't exactly learning who your ideal viewers are.

At some point, you have to trust the export.

Hit publish.

Close the app.

Let the video find its people.

I used to do this all the time, and I know I'm probably not the only one. 😂
