We are also looking for people who would like to contribute more tabs of their own 👀

You know who else has been going crazy archiving Ichika Nito's stuff? ‪@skoico‬ , or most probably known as ‪@injcs‬ , has been playing internet archaeologist for a past year now and has uncovered a plethora of old ichika content.

Hi everyone, Rian here!

I'd thought i give a little update on my guitar progress, or...lack thereof.
I basically took a nice break from guitar to go enjoy some of my other hobbies lol (piano and trying out lots of new videogames heh)

Guitar isn't really a "main" thing I'd like to be defined by, rather it's just one of my many side hobbies I come back to whenever I feel like it.

With that being said, I and a whole bunch of ichika fans are cooking something up in the unofficial ichika discord channel, and I look forward to seeing the end result! It will take some time as it's a challenge for all of us but I'm excited.

1 month electric guitar update!

Playing and practising on my Ibanez qx527pb has been such a nice experience. As a beginner guitarist, this guitar came to me so naturally, i even forgot to be surprised that this was a 7 string, not a 6. It's super light and small, and fits me very comfortably :)

A little bit of my music background:
I've had an acoustic guitar since December 2020, but i've never really had the time to play anything on it for the longest time. I've only started to focus on guitar ever since the start of 2023, trying to learn illusory sense on my acoustic before I bought the electric guitar.
I also have around 10+ years of casual piano experience, so that definitely helped a lot!

"Which one is harder, guitar or piano?"
I would most definitely say: guitar! In guitar, every technique is so intricate and every small details matters and can affect the overall sound. As a beginner, this is one of the big challenges that I'm trying to overcome.

"What's your current setup like?"
I don't own any equipment at all! I've been practising my electric guitar acoustically this whole time HAHA. I don't mind it tho! The wood quality and natural resonance make the guitar sound super nice, even without an amp. For now, I am in no hurry to get any equipment, just focusing on practising my skills. Although in the future, I'd like to buy an audio interface and a DAW, so my computer would be generating effects and tones for me.

"Do you have an end-goal in mind?"
I definitely do(?). I'm pretty sure its quite obvious from what I've done on this channel, which is to eventually upload ichika nito covers of my own! Especially for ichika's old albums like "she waits patiently" or "forn". If I can't find any good covers of these songs, why not say "screw it, I'll do it myself!". It will definitely take me A LOT of time before I can produce something, but I will make sure I have lots of guitar fun in the process!


Lastly, thank you so much for your support and encouragement in my guitar journey! There is so much possibility with this instrument, and I can't wait to play more on it.
