In my last post, I expressed how grateful I was to each and every one of you who supported this channel as we hit 800 subscribers.

Well, here we are about a month and a half later, and we’ve already hit 1,500!

I know how valuable your time is, so I can’t thank you enough for choosing to spend some of it here with me.

I’m honored. I’m ecstatic. I’m overjoyed. And I’m looking forward to seeing where we go from here as we finish out 2026!

Hobbyists! I am blown away by the incredible support for the channel over the past week! I can't thank you all enough for spending some of your time with me and this small channel. It's truly an honor and I can't wait to keep things rolling!

On another note, I've been anxiously awaiting Upper Deck's next DC trading card release, DC Inspirations. It was delayed a few times but has now shipped. Normally that's great news however, I unfortunately will be out of town when my boxes arrive. I can't wait to rip into it and see what it has to offer but I'm bummed that my video will release later than I would like.

First and foremost, thank you to everyone who watches, comments, and spends time with this channel. Hitting 500 subscribers has honestly been incredible. I’m honored and excited to keep this thing rolling!


That said… you may have noticed that things on the channel have been a bit slow lately! Between delayed releases, missed EQLs, and that pesky day job that just won’t go away, uploads have slowed down a bit. While things have been slow, I haven’t been idle!


I’ve been using this time to work on a project that’s been on my mind ever since opening my hobby box of Upper Deck’s Batman: The Animated Series trading cards.


If you’ve seen my unboxing video, you’ll know I wasn’t exactly blown away. The image quality was rough, the parallels lacked “wow factor,” and overall, the product just didn’t feel worthy of the price point. And as collectors, we deserve better!


So, I decided to see what I could create myself.


I’ve been digging into the poor image quality, experimenting with redesigns, and trying to create cards that I would have been happy with.


So far, I have some good findings and what I think are some pretty cool looking cards. Some changes are subtle, others are a complete redesign, but I’m finally getting close to sharing something that I’m genuinely proud of. Turns out obsessing over trading card design takes a LOT of time! 🤣


As a little teaser, I’m sharing one comparison photo between the original UD Debut Blue Poison Ivy parallel and my remake where I sourced the image directly from the HD Blu-Ray release of the show.


The difference is pretty striking! Any guesses as to whose is whose?

Happy New Year, Hobbyists!

Looking back on 2025, it’s been an incredible year filled with a lot of fun, plenty of learning experiences, and I’m truly grateful for everyone who has supported the channel along the way. Every comment, like, and subscription means more than you know.

To be completely honest, I started this channel on a whim and without much of a plan, just a love for hobbies and a desire to share them. As we head into the new year, I’m excited to really dial things in for 2026, continue learning, and find new ways to improve and make the channel even more enjoyable. Not just for myself, but for all of you as well.
