hey everybody! how's it going?

as a way to celebrate me hitting 100+ on my youtube channel, i'd figured it would be best to surprise everyone with these two remixes i worked on as a little thank you! i seriously cannot fathom how much all of this means to me, and its even crazier knowing i've only been going at it for about 2 years now!

i know those numbers may not mean anything in the grand scheme of things but, believe me when i say i truly didn't expect any of my stuff to reach out as much as it did. idk, i tend to avoid creating something that would "please algorithms" and just try to work at my own time and leasure. all of this is simply just the result of me wanting to build something i can call of my own, no matter where i'm at or what my circumstances are.

so really, thank you! from the bottom of my heart, i hope i can keep on creating much like my peers or anyone in general who had inspired me to create to begin with.

my latest single, "Strange New World" is out now!

an anthem for the trying times, alrightrandy returns with his second original track, "Strange New World." taking a multitude of different influences of old bloghouse era dance music, french house, electroclash, trance & much more. this is a 8 minute long journey that encapsulates all of the paranoia that is dealt with in the modern era, showing a much more conceptual and vulnerable side of his work.

sampling french pop-rock's Axel Bauer, and twisting his classic "Cargo" into an absolute distorted dystopia. its a pure shift in tone, taking a much more emotionally driven, maximalist approach of writing a dance song. it feels more like a statement piece that uses elements of dance music from a bygone era. resulting in a track that basically tells its own story with sound.

"why are you sitting up there?"
"because i can see, come and look! you can see the whole world."

not sure if anyone has noticed, but if you just so happened to wonder "where was october's mini mix?" there clearly wasn't anything planned that month, lol.

i had to break my bi-monthly streak due to a lot of personal factors that happened within the past month or so. and to add on top of that, i was also putting a lot more focus on pushing out that ROTP Remix EP during that time too. (which the amount of support i've seen from that has been absolutely bonkers! i seriously cannot thank you guys enough!! <3)

in short, i didn't want to burn myself out considering how much i was doing around sept-oct. but don't worry, i'm doing a lot better now! and i'm very happy to annouce that i am developing the final mini mix of the year. ideally, i'm hoping to put this out on new year's eve, but who knows! i'll drop the date once we get there.

in the meantime, i've noticed a huge jump in subs within the past few weeks or so. if you just so happened to be a newcomer here, welcome! this "alright mini mix" thing is a bit of a personal project/experiment of mine. you can view all of them here:

folks its been confirmed, the compilation/EP "Revenge of the Phantoms (Remixes)" is dropping on 10/13/24!

i am BEYOND excited that this is finally happening, i've managed to reach out to 5 artists with various of different styles to create 5 remix tracks. its absolutely unreal to see all of this coming to life, i think you guys are in for a real treat!
