Jesus said, “My peace I give you… Do not let your hearts be troubled.”
But here’s the hard question this message raised 👇 Are you asking God for peace… while avoiding obedience?
So many of us want calm, relief, and answers—yet God often invites us into deeper trust and surrender first. Peace isn’t the goal. Relationship is. And peace follows.
👉 Be honest: What do you think most people chase for peace instead of God?
Our midweek service hit a powerful truth: Sometimes the biggest idol in the church isn’t a statue or sin — it’s our comfort. Our preferences, our routines, our “normal.”
Through testimony and Scripture, Pastor Steve challenged us to let God change whatever He wants — even the things we hold tight.
If you’ve ever resisted change or clung to what feels comfortable, this message will speak straight to you.
Let’s be a church that chooses surrender over preference.
What’s one thing in your life that’s hardest to surrender to God?
Jesus calls us to die to self—but that’s easier said than done. What’s something you’ve struggled to let go of? Share in the comments, and let’s grow together!
“Stubborn hearts, strong wills—God can use it all! Saul’s encounter with Jesus shows us that no one is beyond redemption. Ready to let God redirect your path?” #EncounterGod#FaithJourney
"God can change even the most stubborn hearts! Just look at Saul, a man who went from persecuting Christians to becoming one of the greatest apostles. No one is too far gone for God's grace. Are you ready to be transformed?" #Transformation#Acts9
