It’s Saturday night almost 8PM, 1982. Mom and Dad are going out dancing (that was a thing back then) and the babysitter is almost here. Brother and I waiting for her by the door - dad (RIP) and mom call us into the family room and surprise us with Pitfall! before they leave - I still have the original cart they gave us 43 years ago. The cart had seen better days - but still freaking works.
