My name is Kevin Karam and I am a Jesuit Scholastic of the US Midwest Province of the Society of Jesus, Baptized in the Maronite Catholic Rite.

I hope to make the Encyclicals of the Popes more accessible to Catholics and non-Catholics, and dispel some of the misunderstandings that are usually the result of relying on regional political worldviews. Standing above as a both a critic and a guide of society writ-large, Catholicism and Catholic thought points us to something beyond our day-to-day political milieu. Artistically speaking, sometimes a little inflection and vocal interpretation behind the written word can help bring out meaning more than simply reading or listening to an AI manufactured recording.
