One of my favorite songs from the very first CPR record that David, James and I wrote together and that we recorded at Jackson Browne’s studio, Groovemasters in 1998 featuring David Crosby on Lead vocals, Steve DiStanislao on Drums, James Raymond on Keyboards and Background Vocals and myself on Fretless Bass, Acoustic and Electric Guitars and Background Vocals. I am thrilled to announce that BMG is rereleasing our CPR records this year!
TBT....Years ago when I was filling in for the guitarist in Jefferson Starship in London, I had so much material to become familiar with, but I had to take a break to visit one of my heroes and dear pal, Elliot Randall who lives in London. Elliot is very well known for his epic guitar solo on Steely Dan's, "Reelin In The Years" among others ....So I took a break and took the "Tube" over to Elliots flat and he immedietly invited me to jam on his couch….Turns out he’s been doing these impromptu videos for years. So at the time, because I was working on the Starship material, the initial chords to White Rabbit came to mind and they were a prevailing influence in this impromptu a blues we did…behold White Rabbit Blues…Thank you Elliot! You are the best!
