The little boy went to the room to sleep with the dream of France's Victory when the oldman said:
- "how long are you gonna sleep in this shirt? Whose shirt is this?"
- "It's Zidane, Grandpa, Zidane. How haven't you heard his name? I won't take this shirt off my body until i get a signed shirt from him."
The oldman smiled and said to his son:
- "look how you made this little boy to fall in love with Football just like yourself. Absolutely he is just like you."
The little boy could not wait for the final match anymore. He was counting the moments for going to 'stade de France'. He was putting the tickets below his pillow every night and sleeping at nights with the love of the final. Now just two days are left until the match.
- " Grandpa, why Dad is not coming? Can't we eat lunch sooner?"
- " No, wherever he is, he will arrive right now."
The phone rang and the oldman reached to the phone slowly. He took the phone but suddenly the phone fall on the ground. The sound of the phone falling on the ground attracted the little boy's attention.
- " What happened, Grandpa? "

He closed the newspaper, took off the glasses and leaned his head to the chair. He closed his eyes and thought. As if something had made his mind busy. But what's this all about? What made him ignore reading the other pages of his favorite newspaper? Zidane? Where was Zidane in the story of the old man that now he is drowning in his memories? Maybe it's all about stade de France. Ahh, damn this damned memory. That was him. It was all about his grandson. The story of world cup 1998 final and the story of the hero of his life, Zinedine Zidane.
July 8, 1998. France won vs Croatia in world cup semifinal and the little boy of our story is very happy. Now, after his mother's death, a ray of hope and happiness is radiated to the little boy's dark Days. His father had promised to buy the ticket for all matches of France in the world cup and took him to the stadium from 2 years ago. Now, as if he was flying in the skies.
He is gonna see the final match in the stadium. The final match which the team of his country is gonna face Brazil in. Brazil was the champion of the previous world cup in 1994. The little boy wasn't hoping of winning. He was consistently saying that we are not gonna win vs Brazil. He had accepted the defeat from now but there was a little ray of hope in his small heart. Someone was not letting him to see everything gone. That one man was the hero of his dreams. The one who he was sleeping with his shirt for years. The one who was everything to him. The one who he was loving him more than entire France. Yes, the one whose name is Zinedine Zidane.

In the name of Zidane, the one who translated Football into his own language. In June 23, 1972 a boy of Algerian origin was born who took the sport of Football to a new level of beauty and popularity with his incredible skills.............................

He took his coffee cup and opened the balcony door and sat on his old chair. The chair which it's creak sound was rousting the pigeons at the edge of the balcony. But the pigeons were knowing him and were coming back to him because this old man was putting their food on the edge of the balcony everyday. He took his glasses from the small metallic table in the corner of the balcony and wore it. He took the newspaper and opened it in front of his eyes. Tired of repetitive news of economy and society, he reached to his favorite page, the history calendar page. Remembering historical events in the old man's mind was giving him an undescribable joy, Events which he saw most of them with his eyes and listened most of them with his ears. Like, with reading these pages, moments were reviving for him and he was touching the moments. He looked at the column of those who was born today (June 23). He saw the picture of a handsome man at the top of the column who as if his smile revived lots of memories for the old man.
Yes, yes. I know him. He is the history maker of "Stade de France". I know this man very well. He is Zidane. The Goalscorer of the final match.
