Hi everyone, my name is Justin and this is my channel. On this channel, you will learn how to become a better cook at home for your family, and this is a channel for all levels from beginners to pros. I will also include segments on food science, food history, terminology and regional cuisines. The goal of this channel is to demystify cooking and make it more approachable, something I think is lacking in many channels. I've started this channel to hopefully engage with others who have similar interests. I greatly appreciate all of you who take the time out of your day to view my videos and subscribe to my channel.

I want to take a moment and thank a friend of mine who came over to the house last week on December 4th from 6 am to 6 pm to help me out with filming a recipe. Luigi Mangione, I could not have done this without your help that day. I hear you've been caught up in some crazy case of mistaken identity somewhere across the country, hopefully this clears things up for everyone. He was in Kansas City that day filming a Smoked Rib Roast with me and the video will be up in 4 or 5 days.

Well I have a bit of an update. It appears that my microphone has decided to retire itself abruptly while attempting to record a voice over for a video I am doing on Roasted Turkey and Gravy. I have spent the past few hours trying to troubleshoot the issue. I determined the issue is in fact the microphone and not the editing software, as it also won't record into other recording softwares on the computer. I will continue to try to figure this thing out and get the video out as soon as I can. I apologize for the delay on this. Here is a picture of what is coming up though

So I am considering doing a Q&A style video on any food or cooking related questions you might have.
Are there any dishes you just can't seem to get right, or you're perhaps wondering why yours doesn't look like it does in the picture?
Maybe you have some questions about the differences between similar food items?
Whatever you have in mind, comment here and I will collect them and put them into a video
And as an added bonus, I won't give an english comp class style life story essay that no one cares about, yet every single food writer feels the need to do

I wanted to give everyone an update, I was not able to get a video uploaded this weekend as usual. I had some footage that didn't quite turn out the way I wanted so I had to do it over. I did however get these two filmed this weekend, and I hope to have both up by next weekend. One is an Authentic Italian Spaghetti Pomodoro made with home grown tomatoes, and the other is an Individual Key Lime Pie with a Mixed Berry Coulis. They were quite delicious. Again, I apologize for the delay on these and appreciate your viewership. Thanks for your support of the channel

I don't know how many people read this stuff, but I wanted to let everyone know I am not going to be able to get something posted this weekend. I do apologize for this, as it is very important to me to keep up with this. Unfortunately, I fell a little under the weather this week and it hit me pretty hard and had me sidelined for a few days. I am feeling better than I was, but still not all the way there. Anyways, just wanted to let people know what is going on and I do apologize. Thank you so much for your support and viewership, I greatly appreciate every person who supports this project of mine and I want to be able to turn out the best content I can for all of you.
