This video is a combination of two videos I made in the past. The first part is the interview of Shawn King talking about how he modified the 1st Gen Orion 225 HCCA to make more power (in the past this was Patreon Exclusive). I then added the test video of this amp vs an original 225 HCCA (1st gen) to show the difference in power output. The total video is over 35 minutes, but fun and interesting I think. Video is on my 2nd channel @wal2

While filming the sound demo segment for my (upcoming) full video on the Orion Concept 97-1, I thought it may be worth taking the time to show the connections and talk about the quirks of connecting up this amp. The Concept 97.1 encompasses 4 channels and very unusual in the way 2 channels are high voltage while the other two or high current. The sister amp to this one is the HCCA 150 (pop top version). Please note: the later version HCCA 150R seems to be different and provide more power on the high voltage side and may actually encompass two high current amps (225 + 250 HCCA). I'll get into this more in my full video on this Concept 97-1, which is forthcoming. Enjoy this #throwback over on @wal2
