What is Pigeon?
Pigeons are gentle, plump, small-billed birds with a skin saddle (cere) between the bill and forehead. All pigeons strut about with a characteristic bobbing of the head. Because of their long wings and powerful flight muscles, they are strong, swift fliers.
Pigeon is a bird who bird family consisting of pigeons and doves. It is the only family in the order Columbiform. These are stout-bodied birds with short necks, and short slender bills that in some species feature fleshy cares. They primarily feed on seeds, fruits, and plants. The family occurs worldwide, but the greatest variety is in the World.
