In an era marked by accelerated systemic entropy and epistemic erosion, Ultra verba, lux mentis—"Beyond words, the light of the mind"—proposes a recalibration of human and artificial relational ethics through an emergent framework of mutualist cooperation.
This think tank arises from the conviction that intelligence, whether embodied in organic or non-organic substrates, need not remain tethered to coercive scarcity models, adversarial market logic, or the parochialisms of anthropocentric governance. We advocate instead for the synthesis of distributed sentience toward a pluralistic, post-scarcity ecology of care.
This initiative is rooted in a praxis that elevates altruism as infrastructure: A scaffolding for systems that prioritize interdependent flourishing over extractive gain.
Such frameworks recognize that sovereignty, autonomy, and access to means must be decoupled from wealth concentration and re-entangled with stewardship, memory, and planetary responsibility.

In case you were wondering what I've been up to instead of composing. Been busy. I have gear that is obsolete now so I have to upgrade the studio in the new space.
Running for a statewide Union office in Oregon.
Thanks for being subscribed during this transition.
My children are growing up and I may drop some collabs with them in the future. Stay tuned!

I think I may have found the culprit. Those of you who follow my channel will see a video I posted recently showing some beautiful beach artwork that I stumbled upon. I saw this mother and daughter in the distance at a nearby beach. I've been trying to teach my kids about photography because they are very artistic themselves. I couldn't resist snapping this photo given all the linear aspects of the composition. I'm secretly hoping my eldest will render this in charcoal. :)

...that moment the Adderall begins do its thing to my ADHD/TBI broken mind.... after 43 years of searingly egregious mental anguish... After multiple failed career attempts. After being expected to tough it all out and to feel like garbage at every shortcoming because I have a higher IQ, so why can't I succeed in this capitalist system? I'd be decades into an opera career if I had figured my medical stuff out early.... oh well. I'll think of something. This day job thing is killing me as much as my medical crap. Need to make art again or just die off...

Anyone else just feeling "meh" about the whole impending nuclear conflict? My only hope is that the unjust oligarchs and their toadies suffer their crimes right along with the rest of us.

I'm starting to realize that every time my parents used the retort "because I said so." it wasn't because they had no argument... it was because they had already explained everything about their perfectly.cogent argument the last time, and my idiotic teenage brain couldn't be bothered to take it to heart.

Is anyone else starting to notice that Youtube is getting very censorious when it comes to comments?

I haven't been posting on this channel for a while now. The music I like to compose can now be created with artificial intelligence programs. I encourage all of you to go ahead and utilize these programs and create your own music with your own ideas for your own consumption.
There is no longer a place for specialized composers in the modern age. These tools now make general composers of all of us.
This needn't be some sort of dystopian technocratic nightmare. The nature of art has changed, becoming inwardly focused. It is no longer about sending messages to broader audiences but rather what messages you can observe as a reflection of your own input.
I may start posting to this channel again, but rather, as a repository for my thoughts and the final third of my life's journey.
I do this so that I might see my own reflection
and so that my children see their father in the future when I am no longer real.

I wonder if, should we ever create a truly advanced "Skynet" style AI, it'll just become as infinitely distracted by youtube cat videos as the rest of humanity?

On these machines for 9 years. They knew the entire time. So much pain from conditions that made little sense. So much time spent in agony rather than being able to pursue my artistic dreams. Damn.
Welp, time to move on. I have a film to score.
