Royal Caribbean has just announced its fourth Icon-class ship, Hero of the Seas, set to debut in Miami in August 2027 🙌🏼
The ship will feature nine pools—the most at sea—along with new family raft slides, 28 dining venues, cooking classes, and standout accommodations like a three-story Ultimate Family Treehouse.
It follows the Icon-class concept of blending resort-style relaxation with theme-park energy, divided into eight neighborhoods designed for all ages to enjoy together. Guests can expect major attractions like the Category 6 waterpark, Crown’s Edge skywalk and zip line, and the FlowRider surf simulator.
Sailing seven-night Caribbean itineraries from Miami, each cruise will include a stop at Perfect Day at CocoCay, with bookings opening soon for both loyalty members and the public.
