When the Noise Settles — That’s when understanding finally has space to arrive.

Y’all… not everything needs a damn response! I just think that we’re all coming out of this year (and prior years) where everyone was talking all at once — reacting, defending, and trying to be misunderstood, including myself. Somewhere in a little weird place called the Internet (or in media circles/personal space) — things have definitely been misunderstood. People got labeled. So many people’s intentions turn into assumptions. People’s feelings got bruised. But now, to me — it feels very different, entering 2026.

It feels like all of the noise and arguing had burned out — not because anyone “won,” but because we’re finally tired of missing each other. Yes. “Missing each other.” When I connected with the 5 of Wands energy, it just feels like afterwards — some of us sat down, and one voice is still standing. Instead of pushing back, we actually listen to that ONE VOICE — not to respond or correct, just to understand.

I’m realizing that some people weren’t moving the way they were to be difficult. Some of them were moving from a place I hadn’t slowed down enough to see. And to be honest and fair, the same is probably true about me.

So, I’m taking this into 2026 with me: listening to understand, not to respond or react so quickly; pausing myself instead of assuming this and that; letting understanding come from beneath the surface, not from the noise on top.

If you’re feeling this too, you’re not alone. This isn’t about agreeing on everything. It’s about being willing to hear what’s really being said — including within ourselves.

Because win, lose — or even draw, it just is what it is. Just do you. I’m here for all of this. Just be intentional with your own life AND ONLY DO YOU! That’s it.

Hey y’all! Happy birthday to my December & January Capricorns! Today is the day of the Winter Solstice ❄️ — “the longest night of the year.” And it’s 12:21 PM right now — me typing too! 🩵

Today’s energy represents in a form of two themes I picked up symbolically — the Grinch & Usher’s “Can You Help Me?” Starting in Capricorn season, you are at the “Midnight of the Soul” — which is at the peak (and it’s 12:25 — Merry Christmas! 🎄 Sorry! 🤭) of darkness, but it marks the exact moment the light begins to return. This solstice energy gives us the chance to start building new, more authentic foundations for your life.

Winter Bloom begins. ❄️🌹

This Christmas season, I’m holding close the softness of Nikki Giovanni’s “Winter Poem” — the way a single snowflake becomes rain, and the rain becomes a flower. ❄️☔️

I’m also remembering the Grinch, whose “heart grew three sizes”; it’s not because the world changed, but because he did. ♥️♥️♥️

Both stories remind me of my great-grandmother Sallie that I once overlooked: her gentleness, her warmth, and the way she taught me that the coldest seasons still “hold room for bloom.”

So this month, Sallie’s Garden becomes Winter Bloom: a season of softening, thawing, melting, and growing a bigger, braver heart.

Something sacred opens on December 13… her birthday.
Let’s just say that it’s a quiet blessing, little surprise, and a winter gift in her honor. 🩵🎂
