Hey everyone. Just want to do a quick update.

You'll notice that I've purged a lot of videos from my channel.
This includes a lot of old songs and DR related shitposts I've posted in the past. I can't get into the actual reason right now, fearing Youtube might restrict my channel even more. But I'll just say that my channel isn't going anywhere and my content isn't going to change.

I promised to post more and I will.
I have a special surprise for you all at the end of the week.

Hey there! Just wanna tell you guys I am not dead (again).
Uni just started midterms so a lot of my time has been spent on that. Although that isn't really the real reason why I haven't been able to upload anything.
The thing is... My PC is dying. Not completely dead that I can't use it, but it's getting to the point where I can't use software like After Effects for a long period of time without it crashing, making me lose progress on it. Which is a shame because I've been trying to get these songs out to you guys.

I've included a line-up of 4 songs I want to make and upload to the channel, with one already being finished (Big Arms) but still in the process of "editing". (I say "editing" in quotes because I can't really work on it without the program crashing and me losing a miserable amount of progress on it.) Just to tease you guys and expect what's to come.

I won't guarantee these four are going to come out back to back, I might just change my mind and work on something else, who knows?

But yeah, just a quick update to let you guys know I still have the channel in my mind and I'll be uploading again soon. The algorithm hasn't been nice to me though but that's alright, as long as those who listen to it enjoy what I make, I'm content with myself.

Hope I can get these songs out to you guys soon, because I am excited to working on these ones in particular.

To anyone who is still watching from the KFAD days, you have my appreciation and gratitude for sticking around. :)

Hey everyone!

It's been a while. About 5 months to be exact.
A lot has happened since then, huh?

I thought I should finally update those of you who has stuck around this long. I know there isn't really anyone asking me any questions nor would there be enough for it to be a need for a FAQ section. But I would like to at least update you all on what has been happening.

But of course the one you want to know is probably:

[Why did you disappear?]

To be honest? Burnout. Before I kept up a consistent schedule but doing so kinda drove me up a wall. Not to mention I was maintaining this channel alongside my time in university.
I decided to take a long break from the channel so I can focus on other things. Especially my education.

While I am "back", I'm never doing that to myself again. I'll try to upload frequently, but not enough for me to feel like I am obligated to.

[What happened to the Kirby Marathon?]

I uh... Kinda had to shelf the project.
There were a lot of Kirby songs I wanted to make but frankly, I did also kinda got bored of making it. I still have the songs that I meant to upload after Distant Traveler (including a String Orchestra Mix of Vs. Void Termina) but they're not up to the level of quality and standards I have right now. I've been a lot more critical of my own work and I am someone who tries to create something they'd enjoy on their own time.

So yeah. Although I might still be making Kirby songs in the future. I kinda have to shelf this project purely because it was getting really dull for me. And I do this for a hobby and for fun.

[Wait, you're just "Kibara" now?]

Yes. To be perfectly honest I've always wanted to rebrand the channel. In The Mind of Kibara doesn't sound very appealing for a channel primarily about music and arrangements does it? It sounds like a psych science channel teaching you about the ins and outs of the human mind.

And Kibara has a catchy ring to it.

[What about the KFAD Album?]

Yeeeeeah... About that. I may as well just fess up about this up. I kinda procrastinated on that a lot because who knew creating an Album and it's Metadata would be so boring?
I also kinda have been getting a bit bored of KFAD as a concept. It was fun when I first discovered it, but there was a reason why I moved this channel away from purely making KFAD content in the first place.

The album probably won't happen, sorry. It's just not something I am interested in doing anymore.
Maybe if I do something like a "KFAD REVISITED" where I go back and redo all of my previous arrangements for the KFAD period of this channel.
But that probably won't happen in the near future.

[Do you play games?]

This is just a bit of self-promo and I added this here purely to answer this question I made up in my head.
Yes, of course I play games.
In fact, I play Rhythm Games mostly.
And you can find clips of me playing them in my Backup channel. Yes I have a backup channel, I've had one for a long time but just never used it for anything for cips and I never told anyone about it :P

Hey everyone. I finally decided to give you all an update regarding what's been going on.

I got the PC fixed up, so yay on that part. But I also had to take out a loan for it, because graphics card prices have skyrocketed. Thank Scalpers and Covid for doing that.
So I haven't had free time to work on music, and if I did, it would be wasted 100%ing Yakuza 4. It's a fun game, go play it. Just very VERY grindy on several points to 100%.

Anyways, I'm here to give you an update on the Kirby Marathon. I know Dark Matter won the poll I made the other month or so, but since I haven't done much progress on it. I decided to postpone it as the finale of the marathon instead. I apologize if anyone is expecting it, but I have my hands full on a lot of stuff right now.

With that said, the next character will be a... Fan Favourite. Or someone you despise and distrust.
Though I don't think the theme song I chose for him is one any of you would be expecting. So stay tuned, and sorry for the delays in uploads.

Bad news. Major MAJOR bad news.

My... Computer is cooked. Just heard from the friend that is fixing it that my harddrives are saved though, so that should be fine.

But my graphics card, power supply, and even more troublingly, my motherboard are all up in the air.

I literally saw smoke spark our of my graphics card :(
I didn't take a picture of it when it sparked because he used my phone as a flashlight but yeah... It was just bad...

I don't know when I'll be able to get my PC back. I literally can't work on my job or make anything without it.

I guess that just means stuff will be left off indefinitely for now :(
I was excited to show you guys the Dark Matter song too... Damn it...

Pictured is my power supply that might also be cooked. I hope I don't have to replace everything.. Especially with COVID prices...

UPDATE:
I'm back. I'm still coughing up a storm, but hey, nothing medicine can't help at that point.
I see the poll garnered more attention than usual, and it's in the favour of more Kirby songs.
Well, guess I have to oblidge.

Though that kinda comes with some bad news. I haven't been working on any Kirby music for a while, for obvious reasons, I don't want to burn myself out of the Kirby soundtrack. But that means the Kirby Marathon is going to be cut shorter than I expected.
Don't worry a thing about it, I already made at least 10 songs ready to be uploaded for it. That includes the ones that's already on the channel.
Some of them may include tracks that again, you may not expecting. I tried to be as representative of the Kirby franchise as possible, unlike Sakurai with Kirby's representation in Smash.

But yeah, expect some more videos to go up soon.

Onto the next bit of update though, and that concerns the option that won second place.
Other franchises in general.

Now, I should tell you I have been working on other stuff that's not just Kirby in the background. Because again, I don't want to burn myself out of the Pink Puffball. I won't tell you what those franchises are just yet. You'll just have to wait until the Kirby Marathon is over.
For now though, I'm going to leave it up to your choice on who do you want to hear from next for the Kirby Marathon.

Update:
I'm sick. I don't think it's Covid, but I don't have the strength to work on anything for a while. Especially music.
Since I am sick, I'm going to use this as an excuse to abuse that Youtube Poll exploit. By asking people if they want more Kirby music as a regular on this channel after this Marathon ends.

Anyways, I'll update you guys when I get better.
