Okay folks! The video release date is settled! It will drop on *18th September 2026!*
The main reason for the delay was the music publishing behind it. It turned out that for a music to release on streaming platforms, there's a gap of 4-6 weeks for it to be reviewed & set into pitching session on Spotify.
So, yup, in the meantime, I will review and polish the video while updating some of my socials banner that seems pretty dull & outdated.
These are some of the video assets I drew,... and it was from October last year. Drawing every nook and cranny of the video, is a hell of a task. You'll see more of this inside the video later on. Premium, mouth watering, water-colory, goody assets! NO AI SLOP WHATSOEVER! Man, screw those AI generated contents!
BUT YEA THE VIDEO IS STILL IN PROGRESS 😭🙏 From storyboarding, script writting, illustrating the asset, animating, creating soundtrack, everything! It feels like i'm playing a puzzle by putting everything into a video right now... a puzzle that takes a year to finish 🫠
As of now, I am currently adding sound effects to it!
On the other side, I am also managing my soundtracks to a distributor so they can be up & running on spotify / other platforms once the video releases. Pray for me 🙏
It seems that I forgot to post last week's update, sorry! I'm running all of this while also working on some commissions, so time has been flying like crazy!
I'll keep on doing my best to deliver this video as soon as possible!
Here are some animations I did for the video. Don't get me wrong, the video won't be fully animated ahaha, it will drive me insane!
Last year, I was learning manual hand-drawn animation. And yup, it took really long for me to nail this movement down... it's insane how much time consuming a hand-drawn animation is!
However, recently I stumbled upon Moho (A 2d rigging animation software), and it really looks interesting. I may have to buy it and learn it in the future to speed things up. For now, I'm stuck with what i've got, CSP ahaha.
This is my second serious attempt at doing hand drawn animation... the first attempt was back then at 2020. What do you think?
On the side note: The video is 80%-ish toward completion.
Hello guys! It's been a looooooooooooooong long while.
Back then, I tried various social medias, and figured that Youtube as a platform, works best for me. Because I love to yap a ton about anything that pique my interest.
Yup... I am back, and will post weekly updates on a video I'm working on. It started as a side project last year on August, but it turned bigger than I expected.
Unfortunately, the video won't be about art tutorials as I will talk about music, and use my own illustrations as the medium for it. So if any of you realize that this isn't for you, and want to walk away from the channel, it is totally understandable. But at least, try to hang around until the video drops😉.
As a wrap up: I am re-directing this channel's focus. It used to be all about art tutorials and stuff. But, I realized by the last two years, that although drawing is fun,... my passion for composing music and song writting are as big, and can't be left out. It's like fighting with half of what I'm capable to do 😅 and trying to become someone else instead. That lingering feeling of "becoming someone" and not "myself", was what kept me unsure of continuing Youtube back then.
Hence, after brainstorming,... a lot of preparation & studies,... and doing lots of errors to improve the quality of my works,...
I came up with this mascot, Poach the Egg,... and- The Pitch & Poach Project.
A new format, a fresh concept, and hopefully brings smile and headbobs* to our audiences.
See you soon on the Preimiere of the video in a month! 🙌
