Welcome to @BerthonBoats. This channel is the official channel from Berthon, a family-run business, it is our aim to provide our clients with a comprehensive service to help you with all aspects of boating.
Berthon has been providing marine services for decades. Berthon works successfully with Government, Commercial and Private partners to provide boatbuilding, refits, maintenance, in-service support and marine products for clients such as the RNLI, Ministry of Defence (MoD), UK Border Force, Port Authorities, Commercial Boat Operators, as well as the private sector.
Berthon Lymington Marina has 300 deep water berths situated in the heart of the enchanting Georgian town of Lymington with easy access to the Solent.
Berthon has been trading continuously since 1877, from our riverside site that was mentioned in the Doomsday Book. We look forward to being of service to you.

Martin Young looks back on his 50 years of highly-skilled work at Berthon, a career that began in 1973 when he started as an apprentice joiner. This video documents his time at Berthon including memories of working on Mari-Cha, Arun class lifeboats, Drumbeat, Gauntlets and Severn Class lifeboats.

We want to thank Martin, for his 50 years of loyalty, commitment and dedication that he has shown to Berthon throughout his career. When asked what his favourite thing is about working at Berthon, he responded simply ‘the guys’.
