Hi, my name is Travis and I am a self-taught software developer of 7 years.
I learned to code and stepped out as a full-time freelance within 1 year. Since then I have entertained full-stack development, DevOps, and Site Reliability Engineering and have documented my journey here on the channel.
Here you'll find coding tutorials, career advice, professional coding tips, life hacks, and the ups and downs of this highly enriching journey of software engineering.
I make videos specifically for YOU and if there is anything specific you would like to request please don't hesitate to ask.
If all this sounds like something that can help you on your own coding journey, consider subscribing and joining me along the way!
Kind Regards,
Travis

I've almost exclusively moved over to the Warp terminal (from iTerm).
Why?
1. AI in the terminal. Game-changer.
2. Workflows (the ability to create a searchable database of frequently used CLI commands that I can parameterize (you KNOW you can never remember that scp command!))
3. One-click synchronized inputs (can run commands across all tabs (servers) and panes)
4. Modern Text Editing in the Terminal. Yes, I still use my mouse.
In my latest video, I walk you through practical examples of how I use each. Check it out.

Has anyone read the book, "Algorithms to Live By: The Computer Science of Human Decisions?"
We're starting this one in the Travis Media Community next week with bi-weekly discussions.
It's only $5/month currently to join for the next 5 people!
What are you reading this year?? Let me know below.

With all the discussion around AI and programming, it's:
- good to be around other devs who probably have the same worries
- good to be around others who are looking to get better at using AI in everyday programming
- good to make connections and have a helpful network
Therefore, I've dropped the price of my Skool community this year down to just $5/month, all access.
Jump in if that sounds like a good thing - www.skool.com/travis-media-community
