Undertale’s 10th Anniversary is today. This is my favorite game of all time. The art mural to celebrate this occasion (which will be uploaded on my newgrounds and maybe here) is of course gonna take longer so it will probably release in a couple days. I just thought I could talk about undertale for a bit.
I first beat Undertale 5 years ago. Back then the only Toby fox project I played was Deltarune chapter 1, and decided to get the collectors edition of undertale to experience the original Toby fox game. This was one of my first indie games ever. I probably played cuphead first but this was one of the most important. This game brought me incredible writing, unforgettable characters, and a soundtrack that at this point I have fully memorized. This game introduced me to so many other indie games that would stick with me, but none like how undertale has always been in the back of my mind ever since I first saw that ending. I may not have played it thousands of times over (I’ve only played it twice, once for each route) but it will always leave a special place in my heart. Happy birthday Undertale, and thank you Toby.
and for those wondering, Deltarune is my third favorite.
