Welcome to Didsbury Art Studio I am Sally a textile artist and educator. Here I offer a bank of over 500 textile tutorials to makers around the world exploring textile techniques, mixed media processes and experimental fabrics.
I share what Iβm working on in real time, whether itβs for teaching, masterclasses, workshops, commissions, your requests, or my own creative explorations. Expect a mix of inspiration, process and discovery with a current obsession for Canadian smocking. I'll explore fabric selections, innovative applications, pattern developments and sculptural effects for contemporary textiles.
