Get It Tabled.
I want to help you get great board games to the table, or "totally tabled" as I say. By watching my fully edited, instructional playthroughs, you will learn how to play while being entertained in the process. I focus on solo let's plays, tutorials, first impressions, Top 10s, and more.

Totally Tabled

Hello everyone! I needed a break, so I took a week off from the channel, but now I'm back. Sorry I haven't been responding to comments. I'll do my best to catch up this week.

Tomorrow I'm releasing a full solo playthrough of UNMATCHED ADVENTURES: TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES! Please check it out. I don't want to spoil the video, but it gets a little crazy at the end.

I hope you enjoyed my extensive coverage of SPEAKEASY. If you are looking to play your first heavy euro, Speakeasy is a great place to start.

For members, I released the second episode of my podcast TABLED TALK. I discuss positivity in the hobby, my AI policy, my 11-20 solo games that everyone should play, I go over my thoughts on LOTR: Fate of the Fellowship, and so much more.

If you feel generous this holiday season, I'd greatly appreciate if you became a member via my Patreon at www.patreon.com/totallytabled or joined on YouTube. Thank you so much to everyone who has already supported the channel.

I'm going to try to recharge a bit this month, so I'm not sure what is coming up. I'm in a weird gaming mood right now. I might need to go back to my old favorites. We will see.

Poll time! I have a simple one: Do you give board games as gifts during the holidays?

Hello everyone! I just released another playthrough of PRIMAL, this time featuring new expansion content including two new hunters. If you are interested in Primal, Reggie Games is currently having a sale on their website. Check out the description of the video for all the details.

I am currently editing my playthrough of SPEAKEASY and hope to release it THIS WEEK, so stayed tuned for that. I already released a members-only first look video where I completely setup the game. I will also release a video where I learn the game from the rulebook, if you are curious to see how I approach learning a heavy game. Then I will release my typical full solo playthrough video as normal.

At the end of the month, I plan on releasing the second installment of my members-only podcast Tabled Talk. Check out my Patreon page to see how you can join up.

And currently on my table is ... STAR TREK CAPTAIN'S CHAIR. It was calling to me, so I'm finally playing it. I'm super excited. If anyone has advice, please let me know.

Poll time! This is a question I've been curious about for a while, but I don't think I've asked it before: how often do you play physical board games multiplayer in real life? Thanks!

Hello everyone! October has been so busy and I'm glad it is finally over. Recently I've made playthrough videos for SHALLOW SEA, A CARNIVORE DID IT, STORYFOLD: WILDWOODS, AYAR, ADAMASTOR, a sponsored play of THRESHOLD and a Halloween special playthrough of FINAL GIRL. I also made two Top 10 lists -- my picks for Essen and my top solo adventure games. If you haven't checked out these videos, please do.

This level of production is unsustainable for me, so don't expect the same output for the next few months. In fact, I'm behind schedule for a few videos like the next Retail Rundown, so bear with me while I catch up.

I'm planning many exciting videos for November, including a playthrough of SPEAKEASY, my most anticipated game of the year! Members should expect a FIRST LOOK video for Speakeasy very soon.

I'm also planning playthroughs for The Old King's Crown, Sweet Lands, Age of Galaxy, Corps of Discovery, and Wroth.

Now for a poll: Of the top games from my most anticipated solos of Essen list, which are you most excited to see on the channel? Thanks!

Hello everyone! YouTube is acting a bit funny lately, as you might have noticed or heard about. I just wanted you all to be aware of my new video, a sponsored playthrough of DON'T STARVE: THE BOARD GAME. This is from Glass Cannon Unplugged, the creators of Frostpunk: The Board Game, one of my favorite games of all time. I worked long and hard on this video and I'd really love if you all could check it out.

October is going to be extremely busy. I apologize in advance if I don't respond to comments at the same rate as usual. I read every comment, I just don't always have time to respond. A few playthroughs that are coming up: Shallow Sea, Ayar: Children of the Sun, Storyfold: Wildwoods, Adamastor, and another exciting sponsored video that I can't talk about yet. I'll also have my Top 10 Anticipated Solos from Essen.

And I'll be making more First Look short videos for members. Join on YouTube or become a Patreon member to check those out, as well as the first episode of my new exclusive podcast Tabled Talk. Thank you to everyone who has already become a member. I really appreciate it.

That's all for now. Have a wonderful day!

Hello everybody! I have big news. After 4 years of creating content on YouTube, I have finally started a Patreon account. You can check out my Patreon page at: www.patreon.com/totallytabled. You can also become a channel member on YouTube. I am "soft launching" both membership programs this month as I get all the rewards together. I have a lot to figure out.

I will make a formal announcement video in the next few weeks where I go over everything in detail. Keep in mind: nothing on the channel will change. I will never place my prior or future board game playthrough and Top 10 content behind a paywall. That's a promise.

I also want to make it clear that benefits will be the same regardless of whether you use Patreon, YouTube membership, or my Ko-Fi page. For those who have already generously donated to the channel, currently or in the past, I plan to offer you a special reward to say thanks. I'll have more information on that later.

The BIG new reward that all members will receive is access to my exclusive members-only podcast TABLED TALK. I am working on the first episode right now and it will be available to members very soon. Starting at $3 a month, you can gain access to this board game podcast that will feature:

-Discussions of board gaming topics

-My thoughts and opinions about recent games

-My top 11-20 for Top 10 lists on the channel

-Q&A where I answer questions submitted by members

-Board game news stories I find interesting

-Monthly channel stats and updates, including upcoming videos

-And much more!

Check out my Patreon page for all the details on each tier level and the benefits and rewards offered. Ultimately my goal is to make Totally Tabled a full-time project. This is obviously a long-term goal and won't happen overnight. I have so many ideas on how to grow the channel and with your support I can make them a reality.

And if you are unable to become a member at this time, I absolutely understand. No pressure. I am grateful for all support, whether watching videos, liking, subscribing, commenting, and sharing the channel with others on social media.

Thank you all so much! Please post any questions in the comments below and I will try my best to answer them.

Hello everyone! I recently returned home from vacation and a lot happened while I was gone. First, Totally Tabled reached 30,000 subscribers! Four years ago, I never imagined my videos could generate this much interest. I'm overwhelmed. Thank you, everyone. Some of you have been active viewers and commenters since nearly the beginning. You are the reason I'm able to spread my love of this hobby and for that I am grateful.

I hope everyone has enjoyed the last few videos, most recently my Top 10 Solo Games of 2024. This was long overdue, but I'm glad I waited to make sure to play as many 2024 games as I could. I still missed out on several big named games, like Men Nefer and Inventors of the West Kingdom, which I hope to play soon.

Tomorrow I'm releasing my playthrough for Endeavor: Deep Sea. I should have another Retail Rundown next week. Sankore should be coming soon. And I have a surprise releasing in September that I am really excited about, so stay tuned for that. In addition, I'm going to bring something completely new to the channel. I should have news on that before too long.

In light of my best of 2024 list, I'm curious what everyone thought of the year as a whole:

Hello everyone! I hope you enjoyed my playthroughs of FLIP VOYAGE and the FLIPTOWN expansion NEW FRONTIER. Fliptown is one of my favorite flip-and-write games, so I was thrilled to play these games ahead of the Kickstarter campaign, which is running right now. Please go check out those videos if you haven't.

I've started a new twice monthly series called RETAIL ROUNDUP. In these videos I quickly discuss several solo board games that have recently hit retail shelves. The second episode dropped today. I talk about Wroth, Galileo Galilei, Skara Brae, and The Anarchy, among others.

Speaking of THE ANARCHY, I'm in the process of editing my teach and play video of this fabulous flip-and-write game. You can expect it in the next week or two. I'm also working on my Top 10 Most Anticipated Solos of Gen Con 2025 and finally finishing my Top 10 Solos of 2024.

Other videos in the pipeline: Endeavor: Deep Sea, Sankore, Wonderous Creatures and many more.

I want to thank everyone who voted in my last poll. I was fascinated and surprised to see how few of you play digital board games. Definitely eye opening. Today's poll is another question I've been curious about for some time: How often to you attend board game conventions? And in the comments please mention which convention is your favorite. Thanks!
