Hi hi! I have a very strange and highly-specific YouTube video topic that I’m considering making after the new year and I would love your feedback on if it’s something you’d care to see! (Be honest, you’re not going to hurt my feelings, promise)

It’s about something personal I’ve been dealing with in the background for my entire life, but especially within the past year. I’m ready to talk more openly about my struggles with emetophobia (fear of vomit) and its ties to OCD. I’ve been in “recovery” over the last year and it has changed my life. I have so much information, insight, and resources I would love to share. I know it might sound weird or silly to some, but it’s an extremely common phobia (up to 8% of the population) that people often suffer with in silence.

I’m considering making a one-off video where I talk about what life was like at my lowest points, my compulsions/habits/struggles, what I’ve learned in my recovery, and what life is looking like now. It would be a standalone video for my channel where I’m just sharing something random going on in my life, and it doesn’t indicate a shift in my content. Just like I did with my birth story video a couple years ago!

I know it’s a very random topic that has nothing to do with my channel 😂 But now that I’m feeling like this phobia is mostly behind me, the educator in me is hoping to share some interesting/valuable information for others who may need to hear it or are looking to learn more.

My toddler accidentally scratched my cornea when we were playing and I couldn't see out of my left eye for a couple days...

What this means for you is that there's no video today because I wasn't able to film today's video in time due to not being able to see 😂 I'm recovered now and the good news is that the next two videos are already filmed and they will be live soon! Influencer Insanity Ep 19 on May 19th and MLM Horror Stories #96 on May 26th (you're not going to want to miss this one - even after 96 episodes I'm still getting stories that shock me).

I will also be having a short "bonus" video going live sometime this week to break some (VERY alleged ***insert all legal disclaimers here*** but very important, if true) anti-MLM news 👀

I'm feeling better and I'm almost finished prepping for a video about the MLM company Modere shutting down unexpectedly. Bad news: No video today and no video next week

Great news: My husband is home from deployment and we’ve been enjoying some much-needed family time these past few weeks decompressing from a very stressful summer. It has been HEAVEN and we’ve been in a blissful post-deployment bubble!!

Also great news: Starting next week I will have consistent childcare which will give me an extra 24+ hours a week to dedicate to YouTube. This is more work time than I’ve had in the past year and a half and I’m sooo ready. I feel like I’m getting a piece of myself back, and more work time for me means more videos for you!

I'm seeing some comments and messages checking in to see if I'm alright because I've missed a couple uploads!

Short answer is: I'm alright! July took a heavy toll on me personally (a two week illness, lots of stress, busy schedule, managing solo parenting while AJ is deployed, and more) and that resulted in me needing to take it a bit slower here on YouTube. Between us, I'm living a very chaotic season right now and I'm just out here doing my best (and not balancing things very well, honestly).

That being said - I've got 2 exciting videos in the works right now and they should be up soon! They're both filmed and I can't wait to upload them because I think they're gonna be hits! Thanks for your patience and see you soon 🥰
