Sim racing has been a huge part of my life for many years, and I absolutely love the thrill, the challenge, and the community that has grown around Bongo Racing.
For me, Bongo Racing has always been about more than just turning laps. It’s about people, friendship, support, laughter, and creating a place where everyone feels welcome.
Away from the rig, Mrs Bongo and I have been foster carers for almost 20 years. In that time, we’ve had the privilege of welcoming over 50 children into our home and showing them family life, stability, care, and a bit of Bongo madness along the way.
That same sense of family and community is what I love about sim racing. The friendships, the banter, the encouragement, and the shared passion for this wonderful sport mean the world to me.
I plan to be around Bongo Racing for as long as this old fella is capable of climbing into the rig and enjoying the thrill of racing. Never too old to race.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part in the Porsche Cup Series, and a special shout-out to Roger for helping pull it all together.
I genuinely think the two-man team format is superb. It adds another dimension to the racing, strategy comes into play, you’re looking out for your teammate, and there’s that extra bit of excitement as the race unfolds.
It’s just a real shame the numbers were so low, because even with a smaller turnout, the racing was absolutely brilliant. Close-quarters battles, plenty of action and some fantastic racing throughout.
Thanks, guys. I really enjoyed this one. 🏁

We're firing up the revised Mazda MX-5s and taking them onto a selection of shorter tracks for some proper close, frantic and hopefully very funny racing.
No championship points. No pressure. Just a bunch of people throwing little Mazdas around, having a laugh and seeing where the night takes us.
And honestly… who knows where we'll end up? 😂

The new Caterham's have arrived in iRacing and there’s really only one sensible thing to do with them…
Fill a server with Bongo Racing lunatics and GO RACING! 😂
Tonight is all about community racing, close battles, plenty of laughs, probably the occasional questionable overtaking manoeuvre and absolutely no guarantee that everybody will make it through Turn 1.
⏰ Racing starts at 9PM UK tonight.
Want to race with us? Join the Bongo Racing Discord Live Chat at 9PM UK for server access.
You don't need to be the fastest driver. You don't need a huge iRating. Just come along, race respectfully and remember the most important Bongo Racing rule:

What can I say… the Le Mans 24 Hour Race was EPIC!
What an incredible experience with a fabulous team, the three Marks, Ric and myself, taking on 24 hours of sim racing madness together.
And the support… WOW. ❤️
For every single minute of those 24 hours, there seemed to be someone there cheering us on, encouraging us, laughing with us and sharing the journey. I absolutely loved it, and I think I can safely speak for the rest of the team when I say they did too.
It was a complete rollercoaster of emotions: highs, lows, anger, happiness, frustration, exhaustion and absolute elation.
This is endurance racing.
The cars might be digital… but the racing, the teamwork and the emotions are very real.
A massive thank you to everyone who raced with us, supported us and spent part of their weekend watching five old boys drive around Le Mans for 24 hours. 😂
We made some memories with this one.
A mega shout-out to Mark Cooley for pulling us all together and somehow managing to herd this bunch of lunatics through the whole thing! 😂💚
And, of course, to King Tony: the man behind the scenes without whom Bongo Racing simply wouldn’t be Bongo Racing.
Absolute legends, all of you. 💚
Now then…
What’s next? 👀

Yeah! After a battle over the last month with the Google/YouTube The Bongo Store is now accessible again through all Bongo YouTube pages. Feels like a thousand emails and dead end help FAQ's later, but we got there.
