I dove into sim racing on PC in September ‘22, and let’s just say... my learning curve looked more like a launch ramp. But hey, the chaos, crashes, and unexpected victories? Totally worth it.

What an absolutely epic experience 💚
Qualifying P3 was a proper wait… what?! moment, and then reality kicked in with the joys of a low split on lap one 🙃 A couple of early bits of bad luck dropped us stone dead last, 48th out of 48, which is never ideal for the heart rate.
But… we knuckled down, kept it clean, and dragged it back to P26 by the flag. Honestly? I’ll take that all day long. We had real pace too, 3rd fastest lap of the entire race, set right at the end in the final stint 💪
Loads learned, confidence boosted, and exactly what we needed heading into the big 24-hour next weekend. Mega experience, proper team effort, and as always, massive thanks to everyone who tuned in and supported.
Thank you Jaccie & Jacob. That was fun.

🇺🇸 Happy Thanksgiving, My American Bongonians! 🦃💚
To all my wonderful racers across the pond: I hope your day is packed with family, food, fun… and absolutely zero contact penalties. May your turkey be moist, your gravy be thick, and your internet connection be stronger than my self-control around Mrs Bongo’s fudge.
Now, I know Thanksgiving is all about giving thanks, so here’s mine:
👉 Thank you for bringing your chaos, your charm, and your questionable driving lines to Bongo Racing.
👉 Thank you for staying up at ungodly hours just to watch a 56-year-old man in big red nerd glasses spin at Turn 1.
👉 And thank you for letting us Brits leave you in charge of America for a while.

Mrs Bongo and I, along with two of our older foster kiddos, are heading off bright and early on Sunday morning for a trip to Poland. One of the most meaningful parts of our visit will be spending time at Auschwitz-Birkenau. Even writing that gives me chills I know it will be an experience that will stay with all of us forever.
We’ve also made sure to include some lighter moments, and I’m really looking forward to trying some proper Polish food, it’ll be my first time in the country, so I can’t wait to soak it all in.
There’ll be no racing for me for a few days, but things will carry on as normal with Jon & Aart leading training on Monday evening and an open practice server on Tuesday for our next Warriors event.
