🏁 The Bongo World Series - 2026 Season 2 kicks off this Tuesday evening with a proper shakedown at Circuito de Navarra!

We’ll be running 2 x 25-minute heats in the GT3 car of your choice, pick your weapon wisely… or emotionally. Both are valid Bongo strategies.

For the first time ever, we’re using the official iRacing League System for registration.
Simply head to Leagues within the iRacing UI and search for Bongo Racing to sign up.

That’s right, Le Mans Ultimate chaos returns to Bongo Racing, alternating every other week with iRacing Misfortune. Same silly energy. Same unpredictable wheel. Same questionable life choices.

So… our first proper endurance race is in the books, the Daytona 24, and honestly… wow. What an experience. What a ride. What a weekend.

We went in with one simple goal: finish the race.
What we came out with absolutely smashed our expectations.

The team were just unreal.
Jaccie, Dan, Declan, Mark and myself taking turns in the seat, with a slightly broken but still heroic Ric spotting for us.


King Tony juggling multiple streams, keeping spirits high, and gently herding cats while we drove through the night and into a brand-new day.

And then there’s you lot.
The chat. The messages. The encouragement. The donations. The advice. The laughs. The late-night company.
You kept us going more than you’ll ever know.

After our little 6-hour run last weekend, we got a taste. A hint. A quiet feeling of “hang on… if things go our way here…”.
Right split. Bit of luck. Keep our noses clean.

And boy… did we deliver.

4th place. In our first ever 24-hour race and at one point even leading the race!
Wow. Wow. Wow.

I’m genuinely humbled by the support around Bongo Racing, the Team, the families who let us disappear into rigs for far too long, and every single one of you who cheered us on.

Thank you. All of you. You’re awesome.

Bongo Racing

We’re just over 12 hours in now, the halfway point of the Daytona 24, and what a run it’s been so far.

Jaccie got us underway after qualifying 11th, and honestly… what a job. Across his two stints he drove absolutely brilliantly, pushing us right up into P5 and P6. Calm, quick, and exactly what we needed.

I then jumped in and things really started to get spicy. At one point we were leading the race, which was just unreal. I wrapped up my two stints running P2, and the car felt mega.

Next up was Dan, all the way out in New Zealand, taking on the nighttime shift. Unfortunately, a couple of bits of bad luck knocked us back to around P13–P14. But fair play to him, he settled back in, kept it clean, and put in some really solid, consistent laps towards the end of his run.

Then Declan rolled out of bed here in Northern Ireland, jumped straight into the car, and put in his two stints before heading off to work. Proper commitment that 👏

Right now, Mark Cooney is in the driving seat, and as I drop the girls off at drama club, I’m heading home for a bit of PC housekeeping, another coffee ☕, and then it’s back into the rig.

After Mark, Jaccie is back in, and then I believe I’m up again.

So at the halfway mark, we’re running P8.
We qualified 11th.
We’ve run P1, P2, and P3 during the race and are now running 8th.

The message now is simple: stay calm, stay smart, and keep doing exactly what we’re doing. This has been an absolute blast so far, and I’ll be back in the car very, very soon.

What an absolutely epic experience 💚

Qualifying P3 was a proper wait… what?! moment, and then reality kicked in with the joys of a low split on lap one 🙃 A couple of early bits of bad luck dropped us stone dead last, 48th out of 48, which is never ideal for the heart rate.

But… we knuckled down, kept it clean, and dragged it back to P26 by the flag. Honestly? I’ll take that all day long. We had real pace too, 3rd fastest lap of the entire race, set right at the end in the final stint 💪

Loads learned, confidence boosted, and exactly what we needed heading into the big 24-hour next weekend. Mega experience, proper team effort, and as always, massive thanks to everyone who tuned in and supported.

Thank you Jaccie & Jacob. That was fun.
