As it happens to be a certain someone’s birthday today, we’ve dug out, from the video vault, this enjoyable video from 2022, in which Steve Wakefield talks to Nick about a working life devoted to one marque: Aston Martin.



Topics covered include; Nick’s early days in the motor industry and how he, perhaps, has cars in his blood.

Catching up with Darren Turner, Aston Martin Racing driver and Aston Martin High Speed Development driver


It was a pleasure to welcome back Darren Turner to Essendonbury Farm recently when he volunteered to star in our video of the V8 Super Cygnet. Whilst he was here, we had the opportunity to catch up and find out what he has been up to in the six years since last visiting and his plans for the future.

Stock Spotlight: 2017 V12 Vantage AMR



We are delighted to offer this superb 2017 Aston Martin V12 Vantage AMR, Fittingly finished in Stirling Green / Lime Green Halo colour scheme over Pure Black Alcantara with Copper Tan and accents.



The combined attributes of naturally aspirated, highly audible, smooth and visceral sportscars with manual transmissions, are now becoming a ‘thing of the past’, as the industry marches to a turbo, hybrid and electric future. The V12 Vantage AMR is a modern classic in every sense, a homage to racing glory and extremely rare. In exceptional condition and with low mileage, this superb ‘last of a type’ supercar is highly recommended to the new era collector or enthusiast alike.



Equipped with the last and most powerful variant of the sonorous and naturally aspirated 6.0 litre V12 engine, no longer built. The Vantage AMR V12 engine, rated at 595 bhp and mated to a 7-speed manual transaxle transmission, giving extreme levels of performance whilst affording high levels of comfort.



Just 31 V12 Vantage AMR 7-speed manuals were manufactured in Right Hand Drive, with only 19 for the UK market from a total of 75 cars built before production ceased.



In addition to the 2018 model year specifications, notable optional extras specified with this example include the lightweight carbon fibre seats, lightweight gloss black wheels, Carbon interior pack, Lime Green colour coded brake calipers and distinctive halo package.

Its last service having been carried out by Aston Martin in November 2023 and with the car receiving a set of new Michelin Pilot Sport tyres, 500 miles ago.



Supplied to its next custodian with its scheduled service, pre delivery preparation and detailing, 12 months MOT and 12 months warranty.
