Audio CDs are incredibly inexpensive compared to vinyl these days with new vinyls running from $30 to $60 retail. Fans of audio CDs are still out there, and when you look at some statistics of actual USAGE versus just gross sales, the usage of CDs for music is higher than it's been in a while.
