Well it's been a minute..

As the astute of you will have noticed the channel hasn't had much or any activity for quite a while.

There's a number of reasons why:

1. My streaming window dried up, as the kids got older they are staying up later and my time was used differently.

2. The wife changed jobs and again was home when I normally streamed.

3. I got focused on making content but just down a different road. Looking at making it my full time career as YouTube just doesn't pay at this level.

4. I now own a media company where the skills I learned on my YouTube journey have been enhanced and no help support other businesses.

5. We were meant to be getting work done on the house so I could have a dedicated office so that the streaming could recommence, but after builder issues that never transpired.

7. My day job work load increased and meant sitting Infront of a pc all night just left me feeling exhausted.

We have seen over 2000 subscribers leave the channel, we closed the discord as it was only me and bots selling time shares 🤣

The good news is... We have just sold our family home, the only one the boys have known. And we have just bought a new one. One with room for a dedicated office 😊

Channel Update 😁👍

Hello everyone, I wanted to pop along and try and explain my absence this last month.

It all began with some computer issues, I was trying to improve the quality of the content made, I wanted to stream in a higher quality, I had the tools needed but something just wasn't happy when I gamed in 4k and streamed. Turns out 4k EVERYTHING has a lot of power draw on the USB hubs even on a 20gb usb c 🤣

So my PC would continue running but all my accessories would lose power. Which meant mid stream id lose mouse, mic, speakers basically anything plugged in via usb.

This took A LOT of troubleshooting to figure out.

But figure it out I did. However, while on this journey I also bought new 4k cameras to record other content. This new kit and an opportunity in my actual real life job meant I had something new to get my teeth stuck into.

So I began making high quality videos for my job and my customers which have been very well received and I hope will lead to something more in the future.

This does however limit my "GAMING" time, as when I'm at the PC I'm editing videos or learning how to.
I have also just passed my first official qualification in the editing software I use as well 😁👍

What this means for the channel as it stands as a gaming live streaming Fortnite channel... I just don't know, I still enjoy gaming, I like the look of this new super hero season. So if things calm down on the video making side I might just start getting back into it all.

But I haven't forgotten about all of you who got the channel to where it is. And I'm not walking away from what's been built as it's such a great platform and it's taught me so much and will continue to do so.

That being said... My most popular "Ever Green" videos still proves to be the streamerbot how to guides... So is that possibly something I need to look into?? Who knows.

But all I will say is if you are interested in knowing if I do go LIVE again you need to have your notifications turned on or you might just miss it.
