You love the sound of an engine? But you DON'T love the sound of your wallet being emptied at $2.25 a litre? I did the math today comparing the new Kia EV4 against the gold standard of efficiency, the Toyota Camry; and even against a hybrid, the gap is becoming a canyon.



Comparison - Cost per 100km
Toyota Camry (Hybrid) $10.00
Kia EV4 $4.00
AND - if you have solar on your roof, that Kia "fill up" cost drops to $0.00.


So in the time it takes the Camry driver to pay for ONE TANK of fuel, the Kia EV4 driver has saved enough for a nice dinner, a round of drinks, and probably a decent deposit on their next set of tyres.
