📢We are honoured to welcome Professor Shivani Sharma from the UK to GK Talks. Prof. Shivani is Deputy Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research and Enterprise) at Aston University, Birmingham, UK. She also pursues a range of national roles in wider professional and charitable contexts, alongside raising a young family and promoting Indian cultural heritage as a Kathak dancer.

Her research focuses on health inequalities in long-term conditions, addressing some of the most pressing challenges around access, equity, and outcomes in healthcare today. Through her work, she continues to drive meaningful impact across academia, communities, and policy.

She is one of the youngest Asian female professors in the UK, a powerful reflection of her leadership, resilience, and influence.
