We’re excited to officially introduce LUNA! 
The Launch Pad Network’s new mobile broadcast and production vehicle.

LUNA stands for Locational Uplinking Networking Asset, and it will allow TLP to bring live rocket launch coverage, field reporting, and on-site interviews directly from launch sites across North America.

This vehicle was previously operated by Tim Dodd The Everyday Astronaut, and built as a professional Frontline microwave news van for NBC, giving it an incredible foundation for mobile broadcasting.

Over the coming months we’ll be upgrading LUNA into a fully equipped mobile space media unit, capable of:
🎥 Multi-camera 4K launch coverage
📡 Bonded cellular + Starlink uplinks for reliable livestreams
🎙 On-site interviews and reporting
🛰 Rapid deployment of remote cameras

This is a huge step forward for TLP and will allow us to bring you more launches, more perspectives, and more behind-the-scenes access than ever before.

CSA Astronaut Jeremy Hansen will serve as Mission Specialist on Artemis II; the first crewed mission to journey around the Moon in over 50 years!

A Royal Canadian Air Force fighter pilot and test pilot, Hansen was selected as an astronaut in 2009 and has played a key role in training crews and supporting operations aboard the International Space Station. Artemis II will mark his first spaceflight, it will also be the first time a Canadian astronaut travels to the Moon.

As Mission Specialist, Hansen will support spacecraft operations, systems monitoring, and crew coordination as Orion carries humanity farther into deep space than ever before.

🚀 MEET THE PILOT OF ARTEMIS II

NASA Astronaut Victor J. Glover will serve as Pilot for Artemis II, the first crewed mission to journey around the Moon in over 50 years.

A U.S. Navy test pilot and accomplished astronaut, Glover previously flew aboard SpaceX Crew-1, becoming the first African American astronaut to live and work aboard the International Space Station. He logged 168 days in space and completed 4 spacewalks during his mission.

As Pilot, Glover will help guide Orion and its crew on humanity’s next great step beyond low Earth orbit.
