Who are the biggest assholes in comics? In terms of their overall attitude and how they treat fans. I'm making a list for Santa. #comicbooks#comiccon#collecting
I probably should have finished Animal Castle first, another well-done comic book play on the allegorical world of George Orwell. But Animal Pound by Tom King was sitting right here next to me, and it is also very well done. King doesn't often wear his politics on his sleeve in his work. This book is an exception. It paints a different and modern view Orwell's "...boot stamping on a human face—forever."
What do Mutoid Man, Hot Hot Heat, and my 7-year-old reading song lyrics in the car have in common? I just posted a video connecting punk metal emotion, parenting symbolism, and why two different songs called Bandages have new meanings when you’re explaining it to your kid. It’s part music review, part dad diary, and part lyrical breakdown.
Ever catch your kid singing a song and want to explain the lyrics?
