I don’t know everything about photography, but I know enough.
I came into photography late in the game, but once I saw the light ;-) I dove deep and never came up for air.
An accomplished landscape photographer having won Gold awards at a national level, my goal is to spread the good word about photography and make it accessible to anyone.
A professional photographer since 2016 specialising in landscape, printing, weddings, and teaching small photography workshops I've enjoyed the journey immensely and sometimes it feels like it has only begun.

This is the image from the end of my latest video on the Move Shoot Move NOMAD star tracker. It's made up of 26x images of 70mm 30sec f/4 ISO1600 (13 minute integration) - stacked and stretched in Pixinsight, with finishing edits in Lightroom.

In my AM5 Unboxing video @HumbleLife8 asks how easy is it to put the AM5 into Alt-Az mode. Not being a visual observer myself I don't do it, so does anyone else have a comment they can make on it?
How easy or hard is it to use the AM5 in ALT-AZ mode just to observe, can we align or do the goto setup easily and quickly? what is needed for viewing or observation use of the AM5? not many talk about this, we are interested in this mount becaue its lighter weight but mostly will be using it to observe, but not sure how easy or hard it is to setup the goto alt az mode, I know in other bulkier mounts you could align 2 or 3 stars and get going, my understanding is on AM5 you have to use app or software to polar align, but for alt-az I think you dont need to polar align right? please correct me if I am wrong anyone, I am new, have mercy on me please lol. thanks in advance for any help
